I love their sweet and sour pork. Have never had anything there that wasn't delicious.

Went to Mings over off of Seneca tonight, have ate there multiple times. Typically have pretty good service and good food. Well tonight was deffinetly different, my husband ordered chicken lo mein with general chicken sauce with a side of steamed rice, and an order of general chicken. Food came out and it was lo mein with shrimp and chicken. My husband cannot eat shrimp as he's allergic to sea food. And asked for it to be re made he wasn't rude all he said was I can't eat that. To top it off he also didn't get his steamed rice. All was well until the owner (cook) came out and screamed at my husband litterally. Saying he confused the waitress and he can pick the shrimp out of the food, he stated it's a waste of food and money. The whole restaurant got quiet with the way he was yelling. SO EMBARESSING. What's the worst part is being a week post-partum and crying at the table while everyone stares after it took place. I WILL NOT return. Worst experience ever.
If you get it fresh, the food is great. In the past years it was usually fresh, nowadays.... It's a gamble.

I went with a friend I didn't eat
Ordered wonton soup which was amazing, peppered steak also amazing and sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour chicken had the sauce poured over it on the plate rather than a dish to dip it in. It made the chicken soggy and slimy and it ruined the dish. I would have asked for the sauce on the side, but the menu gave no indication it would be made that way. After the food was served the sever never came back to ask how it was. when we left we asked to take the left overs of the soup and the soup was taken into the kitchen to be put into the container for us. I was brought back 1/3 of the soup that I had left in my bowl. Not a horrible experience overall but it could have been much better.

We ended up getting the garlic chicken and the curry chicken. The rice was not too impressive it's bland. But the garlic chicken, Curry chicken, and the won ton soup were very delicious.

Great food always!
Mings is the best Chinese restaurant in the Midwest. The combination platter for the appetizer was perfect. The main course was also very memorable as was the wait staff. The water glass fill-up was checked every few minutes. Perfect experience & will be going back. It was just like being back in Chinatown in Boston!

Great American Chinese food. General Taos chicken, or really any chicken dishes are good. Hot and sour soup is worth the drive for me. PSA: Stop graffitiing their sign…
