A friend showed me this place and I'm glad he did! I tried the crazy Salmon Roll. It was so good! Big rolls too! I've been looking for a good sushi place ever since Kanai closed. This is the best one I've found.Today I went in again, and was told the sushi wouldn't be available until later in the week as they were getting a new sushi chef.I ordered the soy sauce chicken. It came with a side of radish which complimented well!I'll definitely be back to get my fix on the rolls!

We tried to come in, called 30 minutes ahead and they said they were going to be ready to seat us. We came in, service told us that the restaurant wasn’t taking any more customers. They specified the owner didn’t want to take anymore customers. This was 2 hours before kitchen closing.

Our first visit to Miya Izakaya and we super enjoyed it and will be back to try more dishes! Atmosphere (interior design, music) and service were so on point. We went for early dinner but can easily see Miya being a fun, more unique, vibe for late dinner or drinks with friends.As for food- we had korean fried chicken, a signature roll, and the $20 sashimi combo plate. All were great. Though I put the food at 4 instead of 5 stars since the sauce on the friend chicken and roll (I think it was the crazy salmon roll) were a bit too much, too sweet and/or oily, for our liking. I did feel that all the food was reasonably priced, however!I am still looking forward to going back to try more signature rolls and other dishes :)
