I have been to Newport Grill a few times, and I have loved my experiences every time. The ambiance is nice and contemporary. The food and drinks are delicious - I love their kale salad, and I am not even a fan of kale. The Amaretto Sour is one of the best I have ever had, and the filet and the halibut are also fantastic. They fly in their fish six days a week, so even for a super landlocked city like Wichita, the seafood here is top shelf. On the last visit, we had Chelsea as our server, and she made our visit extra special with her amazing care and service. I look forward to visiting Newport again.

For the price, I thought the good was sub par, and most of my party agreed. Under salted potatoes, greasy, untrimmed asparagus, lamb that was mostly bone and gristle. No great apps or desserts. Quail legs a miss, average artichike dip. The carrot cake was dry and overly spiced, the creme brulee lacked flavor. Definitely wouldn't go back. Service was nice enough, and a cocktail or two was ok.

Love coming here for happy hour. They have perfectly crafted cocktails/mocktails and appetizers that just make your taste buds sing and leave you wanting more! Always amazing service! Would definitely recommend for a date night, night out with friends, or just treating yourself to some delicious foods and drinks! The oysters are the BEST in Wichita- hands down!

Our favorite place to treat ourselves to a perfect experience with the most delicious, beautiful plates of noticeably fresh food and the best bar selection especially considering the relative size of the property. I highly recommend the filet mignon - you cannot find a better one in all of Wichita. The staff is top notch, but we have our favorites and long-standing folks usually during our visits. It sits along a pretty island with a waterfall, man made pond/lake and a water walk all around the upscale shopping center. They do have a patio overlooking the waterfall and wildlife if you prefer to sit outside. Plan on spending a few hundred dollars easily for 2 people (but I never regret it). You can reserve seating online in advance and I would recommend planning ahead of popular days and times to get your reservation in.
