Food was amazing. Maddie was our server she was great. My wife loved the stardust cocktail. Everything was very good.
Seafood (fresh catch) is excellent. We had scallops and magi. Wines were very nice. Angelica was a great server.
My man is working in town and we came here for his birthday. The ambiance was peaceful and our server was fantastic. We ordered 50 oysters and some shrimp. It was good food and I would come back. Just really pricey for the oysters is why I have 4 stars
Great patio food and staff but questions on what is domestic 🍺 Wichita beer?
Always a good choice for dinner
The service, the food, the atmosphere is excellent, the pomegranate lemonade was delicious
The Newport is always a great place for food and drinks. The fresh oyster assortment is my favorite thing about it, but all the food is great. Our server was Dan, excellent service.
I had high hopes for this restaurant given the price point, but the experience was a major disappointment. The Mahi was completely overcooked—dry, rubbery, and honestly inedible. I could barely get through two bites. The filet was no better. It neither looked nor tasted like a proper filet—tough, flavorless, and not at all worth the cost. For the price we paid, I expected quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, we left hungry and frustrated. Definitely would not recommend.
Everything was wonderful. A little pricey, but good nevertheless. Had the Ruby Red Trout with the Olive Tapenade. And I live the crispy Brussel Sprouts.
A great outdoor patio experience on Thursday nights concert series. Also the very best of service that we had excellent excellent excellent.

We celebrated our five wedding anniversary at Newport Grill this evening. All the staff we interacted with were very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was good. Everyone was having a great time. It was a little noisy, but not overwhelming. Our meals were delicious. The portions are small, but adequate. It was nice to have a little room for dessert and no waste or leftovers that would probably not be the best the next day anyway. Overall very happy with the experience. One thing that was off putting, was the bungee cords holding the umbrellas to the railing in the outdoor dining section. A small thing, yes, but it's the small things that really matter and can make such a difference.
Hannah was an excellent server (we've never had a bad one at Newport). We lived in Wichita for 7 years prior to moving away and have had countless dinners at Newport. It has been excellent since they opened and haven't lost a step. Noah (owner) has done an outstanding job maintaining a great experience for the customer. We love the food, service, staff and atmosphere and is one of the main reasons we make a trip back to Wichita from Canada several times every year.
We had an amazing experience! We were entertaining friends from out of state. This was the best dining experience I've ever had in Wichita!
Newport Grill, located at Wichita's Bradley Fair Shopping Center, is one of our go-to restaurants for special occasions, and we highly recommend it. Dinner prices make this one of the more expensive restaurants in Wichita, especially when considering drinks, appetizers, and desserts; however, the lunch menu offers reasonable options. This occasion found us there for lunch, and by 1 p.m., much of the lunch rush was over on a Friday afternoon. The food is always excellent, and the service is very attentive and professional. When making a reservation in advance, request a booth with a window view overlooking Bradley Fair Lake. Please note that the booth may not be ideal for individuals under 5 feet tall, as it seats rather deeply. Outdoor seating is available, weather and temperature permitting.
Mirko was a top notch waiter. Food tasted great and the happy hour menu did not disappoint
