Always great service and food when we come here! Restaurant is well kept and clean. Worth the money

My wife and I frequent Newport often. Although seafood in Wichita is difficult to find, Newports lobster rolls are great.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Wichita. Love the food, vibe and service. Normally we get one of the fresh fish specials or the amazing George Banks Scallops but tonight we went with small plates. The crab cakes are so good and we added the seared steak and it had amazing flavor. Of course we started with some fresh oysters as always, very good. Sydney was our server for the second time and she is one of the best we have had at any restaurant. She is very attentive and it is obvious she wants the dining experience to be a memorable one.

Enjoyed the Sunday brunch with family. Started with great coffee which was kept hot and full by our server. Both the Lobster and Alfredo pastas were worth seconds. My wife and daughter loved their made to order omlettes. Great food and service, a wonderful experience.

We asked for a room for a party, for Sunday brunch. We asked for a private room. But when we got there was a big room opened with an another huge family. And the kids where so loud and rude and running around our table and body slamming into each other and the parents where not controlling them. And it was ruining my friends birthday brunch. Note: we asked 2 servers a couple times to put up the devider and they said no. Food was decent. Service was good about clearing plates and bringing coffee/water. I will not be back agian.

Food was good, but the atmosphere was horrible. we booked the room for an adult birthday party, we got there and they didn't have the dividers shut. On the other side of the "room" there was a large family party. About (7) and About 15 little kids too, they were so loud and crazy running around crawling on the floor, running around our table at the end. The parents tired to handle it but they gave up and it got much worse. When we called to book the room we asked for the dividers to be put up. We asked our servers 2 times and they said we don't want to offend the other family that's here. They just did not handle it well. It was also annoying when we went to get food and the kids where walk/running carelessly in the food area so you had to watch where you where going.

Best and freshest fish in the midwest. Fish in the midwest is usually dry, rubbery or ko flavor. Even their kids menu is fresh and made from scratch. I would suggest the clam chowder, fish and chips or Idaho trout. They are very child friendly.

brunch was a disappointment. Prime Rib was especially fatty, omelets were ordered as opposed to an omelette station . Waitress didn't mention omelets, we had to ask. was disappointed to the point that probably wont even consider going back for dinner

All the breakfast items were delicious and filling! The pastries fell apart before you could eat them and weren't different enough from each other. The staff was good, they just were talking to each other first, and checking on tables second.Kid-friendliness: No. Not kid friendly.

The food was okay, but the experience was ruined by the rude waiter we had. I don't see why it was her job to question the way I like my food. I'm the one eating there, not her, I know what I like, not her. So when this waiter comes out with a dumb smile on her face talking to me about how the chef recommends the food, I could not care less. Not only that, the waiter questioned why I would choose a salad over some sides like I insulted her somehow, but that was after she was mad about the fact that I didn't let her talk endlessly about the alcohol choices they had when I told her I don't drink. I wish I had her name, she isn't a good employee.

Overall Newport Grill is a good experience. The atmosphere is nice, but a little noisy and the service is very good. Our table ordered a variety of entrees and there were obvious winners and losers. The filet and tuna were the winners, the scallops were a big disappointment. 3 medium size scallops for $40 was crazy. This was an appetizer serving of protein and they were very heavily salted, as were the red potatoes. The salads looked very nice but the clam chowder soup, again was a big miss. Very watery, and bland.

Newport Grill is always a busy fun restaurant. Love to go there for lunch. Lots of delicious salads and a variety of other delicious food options. The staff is friendly and helpful with food and wine choices.
