This was our 1st time dining at Daikon Cafe, and we had the Oxtail Hotpot. Soup was most delicious and flavorful, and where else in Wichita will you find this delicacy? We added noodles, veggies, steak, chicken, shrimp to the soup, and we enjoyed it all. I'd go back just for the oxtail soup!

Came to try the new Wonton soup and it was a 10/10 the broth is super delicious and has a nice sweetness to it. The wontons are also super tender and packed with flavor.

Burned the hell out of my mouth by no fault of the owners. This is the kind of food where you will sit there and go "HAFAFAFAFAF... ugh worth it" and start over again. They remember your name, your face, your order, everything. These aren't meals pulled out of a bag and microwaved, they're not mass produced or frozen and fried. Mama's back there every day making hotpots from SCRATCH. worth the wait in every way.

Wr had the OxTail and Tom Yum hot pots. The oxtails were sooooo tender and divine. I was stuffed and still wanted more. The Tom Yum was the perfect compliment. The owners son talked with us and told us the history of his mother wanting to open her own restaurant. Will definitely be going back frequently.

Where do I start?! Decided to try out Daikon for my cousin’s birthday dinner. Daikon did NOT disappoint!! The nice guy that greeted & seated us was so freakin great!!! We got the Ox Tail, Curry and Tom Yum hot pots along with the pork belly skewers; delicious! Then. AND THEN our server brings out plates of birthday surprises for my cousin: grilled red pork, beef skewers, and this tasty chicken that went so well with the curry hotpot. It was like never ending plates of deliciousness and hotpot. All three hot pots were so tasty!! Food on point all around and service beyond stellar! We will definitely be coming back again. Thanks Daikon Cafe for the great hospitality and food! The hot pots reminded me of being in Thailand ?
