It's a red flag when you open the food container and it smells fishy. Good poke doesn't smell fishy. The fish was low quality and mealy. Poke should have fresh veg and flavorful sauce, not just soy, floppy white onion and sesame.
The person running the food truck was kind of arrogant bordering on rude, disparaging the event he was at, thinking he was the reason all the people were there. Yikes.
Not worth the money, for us; we can go to other poke places.

We had never had Hawaiian food, so we decided to try it. We ordered the Huli Huli chicken, Huli Huli steak, & a lobster roll. The lobster roll & fried rice was okay, but nothing spectacular. The steak was tender & had a good flavor but there were no green onions & it wasn’t drizzled in sauce like their advertised picture. The white rice had quite a few uncooked pieces in it. The macaroni salad had a weird consistency & no special flavoring. But the chicken was a huge disappointment. The picture shows slices of chicken drizzled in sauce & with sesame seeds & green onions. We got shredded chicken without any of the toppings. I thought we were given the pork but called & was assured it was chicken. Well…we tried it. May try a different restaurant, but will never get Noble House again

I had Hawaiian Bros for the first time this week and I was craving this type of food again so I decided to try this place instead and I hate to say it, but Hawaiian Bros has them beat. The Service was quick and the lady had drive-through was very nice however, my meal smelled funky, absolutely not what I was expecting since I had the same thing from Hawaiian Bros Huli Huli chicken It didn’t taste like it was rotten or anything. It just definitely had an odor and I wasn’t too impressed with the macaroni salad either.
Every time I'm in Wichita this is the first spot I go to! I travel all around the mainland for work, I'm from Hawaii.... This is as close as it gets to local Hawaiian food, of course the owner is from Hawaii! He did cut back on how many different kinds of plate lunches he used to have, but still ONOLICIOUS!!

Update 05-12-2025
We have been to most of the new Hawaiian spots and Poke spots…. Yes Noble is a touch more $ for a Poke bowl, but based on taste and the actual amount of Tuna I get it should be 2-2.5x more easily. I live far east and have 4-5 options and gladly drive here to get my Poke fix!
Update 09-28-2020- I wish I could give more stars!
The new restaurant is amazing, and even with COVID, service and availability has been great! My original review still stands!
Love the food and the staff are all friendly and very helpful in recommending different stuff. After discovering Noble House, I stop in for some comfort food every week at least once. My favorite is the Poke Bowls!!
Review for Nobel House
I had the opportunity to dine at Nobel House recently, and overall, it was a pleasurable experience that I’d be happy to repeat—with a few small tweaks to my order. I tried two dishes during my visit: the California Poke and the Huli Huli Chicken with a side of fried rice. While not every element hit the mark, the highlights were impressive enough to leave a positive impression.
Let’s start with the California Poke. This dish was a standout in every way. The fish was fresh, well-marinated, and accompanied by toppings that enhanced the flavors rather than overpowering them. The texture was spot on—light yet satisfying—and the balance of ingredients felt thoughtfully curated. It’s clear that care is put into the preparation of the poke, and it’s a dish I’d gladly return for.
Next up was the Huli Huli Chicken, which continued the trend of high-quality preparation. The chicken was cooked perfectly: tender, juicy, and infused with that smoky-sweet Hawaiian flavor that defines the dish. The glaze had a nice depth to it, with just the right mix of sweet, savory, and a hint of tang. The portion size was generous, and the presentation made it even more inviting.
Unfortunately, the one downside of my meal was the fried rice. It was noticeably overcooked, resulting in a dry, somewhat chewy texture that made it difficult to enjoy. It also lacked seasoning, which left the dish feeling flat and underwhelming in comparison to the rest of the meal. While it wasn’t inedible, it didn’t meet the standard set by the other components. With a little more attention to moisture and flavor, it could be much improved.
What really helped elevate my experience at Nobel House was the exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. My server was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations, which made ordering a breeze. The food arrived promptly, and I appreciated the level of care shown throughout the meal.
Pricing at Nobel House is also worth noting. For the quality of food and the portion sizes, the prices are very competitive. I felt that I got excellent value for what I paid, which isn’t always the case when dining out. It’s refreshing to find a restaurant that doesn’t skimp on portions or quality while still keeping the menu reasonably priced.
In terms of ambiance, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting—perfect for a casual meal with friends or even a laid-back date night. The space was clean, well-lit, and had a comfortable, modern vibe that added to the dining experience.
All things considered, I enjoyed my time at Nobel House. While the fried rice could use some improvement, the rest of the meal, combined with great service and solid value, made for a memorable visit. I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes—and next time, I might just swap out the fried rice.
Very basic interior and good was delivered to table in Styrofoam to go containers. Food itself was good and as described by counter staff.

I was in town with some colleagues and wanted to try something new. We had about 6 people order and every single one was wrong. The owner (I believe it was chef Aki) yelled crude things at the other employees. He also was staring non stop and in an extremely creepy way at the women at our table. We all felt very uncomfortable by him. The food was bland and tasted like the meat had been bad for days. My beef tasted sour and expired. Absolutely inedible. We all ended up throwing our food away and going somewhere else.
Awesome!!! Amazing tuna,The freshest and best tasting fish I’ve ever had in Wichita. 10/10 support your local restaurant. ❤️
If you are craving delicious Hawaiian food, don’t waste your time or money going anywhere else! My girlfriend and I have been long time fans and customers of this place and we wanted to check out Hawaiian Bros to compare. There is NO comparison. Noble House’s freshness, flavor and quality is so much better than Hawaiian Bros and is honestly unmatched. Plus it’s great to support local businesses who pride themselves on authentic Hawaiian cuisine!
My food is always delicious. Always consistent with tats and portions. Friendly staff!
Came in with my Gym bro for a post workout meal. Let us in early since we were there earlier than planned. The owner (assuming) even gave us a free entree after forgetting to charge for an item. The food was delicious and my Salmon was perfectly cooked! 10/10 customer service and 10/10 food. We already go here but had to leave a review after this amazing experience.
