The guy at the register named John was very rude. I tried to order a number one and subsidize my drink for a root beer float basically paid to add ice cream to my root beer. He said he can’t take my money so I won’t be going back there

NuWay is an institution in Wichita. The original location and this location are now the only two in the city. This one is in the more modern style, and the restaurant was clean, and service was good. However, I found the food not as I remembered. The NuWay bun was stale, and the “crumbly burger” was also. However, the onion rings were some of the best I’ve had.
NuWay is still an experience of which one should partake.
Nuway Burgers has been a family favorite for decades. Crumbly really is good... more than good, actually. Pair a delicious Nuway burger with their homemade rootbeer, and you have absolute perfection.
