It was recommended that I stop here for lunch. Small "mom and pop" type place, nothing fancy just functional. Not a bunch of menu options to dig through. Staff was incredibly friendly!! I'm not a big fan of root beer but their's in the frozen mug was really good, and they keep it full for you.Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I'll definitely go back to try something different.

We went here yesterday. An employee was helpful. The place was clean at the time. But, that's where it ends. The Nuway wasn't seasoned and was dry , not even at a tepid temperature and seemed old appearing. We thought we ordered onion rings, but the employee didn't ring it up. A child's meal wasn't eaten because the fries weren't good and hot, they refused to eat their sandwich. I highly doubt we will return for a very long time, if ever.

The legendary crumbly burger of Wichita, at the corner of Central and Ridge. This is the most trustworthy Nuway location for a good bite. The root beer is still the best in town and they serve it in ice cold mugs making it a must to dine in. This is a dependable place for children too as they have a very affordable kids meal served in an airplane box. Tots and onion rings are another highlight to go with the meals. The only problem I find with the original Nuway sandwich itself is that it is never served at a hot enough temp and it seems lukewarm every bite. Friendly service is hit or miss here but my last trip was a great experience and the staff was fantastic to me. I highly recommend making this location the best one for Wichita.
When you have ate somewhere for over 35 years and the quality snd taste hasn't changed, i think it deserves 5 stars. It's also a Wichita tradition.

Facility was clean, young lady working the counter was also walking around refilling rootbeer mugs, and she was on top of it all. Kitchen staff was cranking out the orders. Food was fresh, hot, and the quality was great.
