We just moved to Wichita and found Old Chicago on Google. We went on a family outing to try the pizza and food. While we were waiting for our order to be taken, we saw on one of the TVs, which had a metal music video channel on it. A music video came on, showing a scantily-clothed Goth nun band. In the video, lesbian acts were shown. Not the kind of thing that should be in a place that claims to be family friendly. We asked for it to be changed, and another mom then saw the same thing. The staff did change the channel, but then we were looked at weird the rest of our time there. We don't have any issue with the channel, band, or video itself, if it were in the right setting. A family restaurant is not the right setting.

Everything was going good until all of a sudden. They switched over to extremely loud Mexican music. I told the server I don't mind Mexican music but why does it have to be so loud on a Sunday night?.. He said there's nothing he can do about it. Many customers quickly left as well as I did. It was such a cool laid-back atmosphere that was well needed on a Sunday night. If I wanted that type of atmosphere I would have went elsewhere. It totally changed the vibe. Not sure if I will be back.
Good food, but incredibly slow, long wait times. They weren't all that busy, but we had to wait on weird things-- to get plates for our pizza and to get our tickets to pay, for instance. We were there 2 hours, not by choice.

Jose was awesome. He was very attentive and we never had to ask for anything. Jose offered to move us so we would have a better sightline of the St. Patrick's day band. Keep up the great job Jose.
I ordered food from this place a few months ago. The food was amazing so my wife and I decided to go sit in to eat last week. When we walked in, the host told us that the system was down, and they wouldn’t be able to sit us down since we couldn’t order anything. Although there were people sitting down and eating, we thought nothing of it and left. Went again tonight, and the same host was very rude from the start. He told us we couldn’t sit down, since the kitchen was short staffed… even though there were empty tables in the place. So I asked him how long the wait list was, he said 30 mins. We went ahead and got on the list and went outside to wait. Sitting outside, we watched people walk in, and get seated. The 30 minutes passed, then 45 minutes, and no call. At point, we ordered our food online, and it was ready within 20 minutes. By the time we got our to-go food, it had been over an hour since we got on the wait list. Not sure what the host’s issue is with us, but for some reason, he does not want to sit us in the restaurant. Btw, we are black, so I’m not sure if that has something to do with it. Either way, the food is good, but we have yet to enjoy the atmosphere in the restaurant, due to the host. Will not be going back anytime soon.

My waitress, the experience overall was horribly unprofessional. Undermining hostesses, she tried to point me to go sit where she wanted. They overall made it awkward and I won't be going back.*Edited- To the owner, nope. You don't deserve my attention after this. You don't know how to calm your store down and rehire, for that I do not care what happens to your business. Unprofessionalism waitresses they degrade men within this business and the owner condones it? I'm good on your reply. Doesn't effect my business just yours.
