Brenna, was the true saving grace, quality customer service--I can't even say she was in the weeds, busy as hell, but she had it under control. I was FOH for 1 year before a 5 year BOH stint: I do not have the FOH skills shown by Brenna.
I wouldn't order food here unless you're ready for poor quality at premium prices.
You have a management problem in your kitchen--dive bar EVERYTHING, Public at the Brickhouse pricing--chef coats on incapable staff who haven't earned a dishwasher apron.
I don't care about the silly line cook, (or staff friend who found a chef coat!?) who brought me food, it is a symptom of poor management.
You have fully failed her, and everyone else, if that can ever happen.
You seem to take advantage of your non-discerning Midwest crowd, like a shady GC does on an elderly couple's wheelchair ramp.
The staff can be fixed, the management issue is apparently horrific.
Horrible food, i use to enjoy steak night now its always over cooked... The last time I ordered a kitchen sink pizza it had a fingernail in it... alcohol taste diluted with water !!!! The bartenders seemed pretty friendly but the owner or manager guy is very rude I couldn't finish all my food and he said I couldn't have a togo box because it was "for here" only even though I was already there drinking and eating and had got full... He would rather me throw away the food I paid them for it then give me a box to take the rest home. I would not recommend this place at all don't waste your money or your time !!!!!
