I will never return to the Popeyes on Maize road in Wichita! I went in and placed a very simple to go order of a fish sandwich and two sides. After waiting 30 minutes, I asked if it would be much longer and was informed at that time that they were out of Fish. I asked why I couldn’t have been told 30 minutes prior and maybe placed a different order. I asked for a refund and it took the supposed manager five tries to get it to go back on my card and I’m not even sure it has yet it has not shown up returned on my bank account. During the time I was waiting, I saw a lady come in that had gone through the drive-through that her order was wrong and three in person dining customers that had gone up to the counter and asked how much longer on their order. I would definitely never return to this place. 2

This Popeyes location can NEVER get the order correct. We always get home and something is wrong. Last time ordered a 3 pc all white dinner and got home 35 miles away and had all dark meat.

I come here at least once a week. The food has always been perfect. Service has always been great. Most of the time, they have my food to me before I've even had a chance to pay for it, or while I'm in the process of paying for it, so keep up the good work. I'll keep coming back for good chicken.
And I just have to add this. I don't eat chicken anywhere. Not even at home, but Papa's does it, right?

Eric was extremely professional and let me know what they were out of. One of the best quality of service I have had in a long time. He was working the back and the drive thru. I hope Popeyes promotes him. He definitely deserves it.

Had to tell the lady my order 3 times (just me). Couldn’t get it right? Gave me the wrong drink. I would go more but service is terrible and my order is wrong more than right all the time? Sandwich was good .

I've been to this Popeye's three times this month hoping that my service would get better and that the attitudes of the workers would be different. They have not. The saddest part is that the chicken is always amazing and the mashed potatoes and gravy is fantastic. But that's where the compliments stop. I've had all three of my orders spoiled because the rest of my meal was neglected and the workers don't care if they mess up. They will repeat a wrong order to you upon every visit and even if you correct them, you will still have a high probability of getting an incomplete order. I don't know what goes on behind the counter/window of this establishment, but it obviously distracts the employees and they think it's more important than their customers. I always ordered the same meal from this restaurant and every time I get some sort of a surprise. I order five tenders, honey mustard sauce, mashed potatoes, and a large soda with no ice. Sometimes I get three tenders, sometimes I get no dipping sauce, sometimes I get all ice in my cup with barely any soda, or my favorite one, I get a small soda after repeating myself and paying for a large, also topped off with more ice than soda. The food comes out so quick that it gives me whiplash and is obviously not double checked by the person at the window before getting handed off to me. It's always something small that gets repeatedly forgotten or messed up on my orders but, it's always happening. I can go to any other restaurant, even Quick Trip, a gas station, and get my food made exactly as I ordered it, everything accounted for, and no need to correct the employee who takes my order. It's only Popeye's that let's me down. Every. Single. Time. In short, if you go to this location, double check your order before pulling away from the window and if anything is wrong with your order, make them fix it right then and there. To the employees of this establishment (if any of you bother to read this), you guys are right on route to my job and are the last thing I eat before beginning the rest of my evening with my customers and my shift. I don't want to have a less than satisfying experience with my food before my day has even started, and after twelve years of my own food handling experience, I'm thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the service that I've received from you. You can all do much better than this and I know it. So just do it and take a little bit of pride in what you do.
