This place left a beautiful impression.
good activate
We have been here several times. Last time we were there, one week ago, the service was terrible and the food online was not what they had on the current menu. We just paid for our drinks and left. So disappointing.
Old brick building. Everyone loved their dinner.
Some of the best shows I’ve seen in Wichita are at The Brickyard - friendly bartenders and a beautiful unique live venue!
Well we got there so late we were about the only people in the restaurant. That was nice. They need to bring back the old pork butt appetizer and get rid of the new one. It don't even compare to the old one. Bartender made excellent drinks. It's a must go if you're a visitor here to the city.
My fiancé and I went here about a week ago and were very excited for the place after seeing the reviews. I loved the kind of old rock n roll vibe mixed with the old speakeasy feel. However, we were the ONLY people ordering food. There was maybe two other people sitting in the bar ordering beers and watching television. We were extremely disappointed when we were sat, and figured out that the old menu was not available. We had came to that restaurant for the chicken and waffles. The only available menu was one page, an a few other pages of drinks. The only options were appetizers, pizza, deserts, and over-priced burgers.
I went with the margarita pizza, in the smaller size. I was excited when it came out because it looked beautiful! However, I would say at least 70% of the pizza was all crust. Crust is fine, but not to that extent. And, to make things worse - I was doughy an under cooked. Again, a little undercooked is perfectly fine with me, I prefer that to over-cooked. But, If I held the pizza up, it just folded and the cheese and tomato slid off of it like a mud slide. Also, the pizza didn't tase like much. It was like eating a slice of unflavored mush. I ordered some ranch with the pizza and it was pink (I'm not sure why), and tasted more like sour cream then it did ranch.
My fiance ordered the wings and rosemary fries. He says that the wings were okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. The fries were okay, but bitter, and could do with many a honey dressing to take away from the bitter tase of the fries.
I don't think I would return to this place, for $30 some dollars I expected a lot more then good atmosphere. I do not recommend Public at the Brickyard.

One of my favorite restaurants in town. So much so I had them cater my wedding! They killed it. We got so many compliments on the food!

Pizza and ribs were great. My wife loved the apple crumble. Music was a little loud for conversation but it is a great place.
