Whoever wrote that May 2023 review was either paid to do it, or was flat out lying. To get the positives out of the way early, I'll say the bathroom was adequately (not overly) clean, the bed was fine, the AC worked well, the TV was decent, and my car wasn't broken into overnight (which was surprising). I slept decently and got out on time the next morning. But.....geeeeze.....the only word you can attach to this place otherwise is "dump". The first major red flags were at the front desk, when I saw a list of gulag-style "RULES" for the facility, and when the desk person asked me for a $25 cash deposit for a prepaid room on a credit card. Gave him the death stare and told him I didn't have any cash on me (a lie), and the subject was dropped. NO reasonably decent place asks for that. PERIOD. I was put in a room that was incredibly far away from the desk area, and needless to say luggage carts weren't available. That was a major pain in the butt. The parking lot is in God awful shape.....looks like it had been mortared. The room curtains looking at them from the outside in were in disgraceful shape, like looking at a picture of a Soviet Union building of 1950. No door handle on the rear entrance.....just a piece of nylon hooked to one of the screws. Carpeting in the hallway areas was either filthy, torn, or non existant, showing the concrete base. Trash containers that needed emptied were in several areas. The smoke alarm in my room was missing, with only wall wiring showing. The towels provided me were a joke. The bath towel was OLD and had no nap left on it at all, and was extremely small. The washcloth was equally old, and was stained. And when I say towels, only one of each was provided. ONE. This is not a property for couples or children IMHO. If you're traveling alone and need an affordable room on short notice, that's about as far as I'd stretch it, but understand clearly what you're getting. The owners apply absolutely no pride or professionalism in this facility.....it's disgraceful.

No bugs a plus and the rooms are good sized, bed was comfy, and the Manager Sarah was very helpful and knowledgeable. There's a store here that's convenient and cannot wait for the new management to take over and am expecting to see great things in the near future with the new owners. This place was remarkable and beautiful. I hope that they restore some of it back to what it once was.

This place is filthy and unsafe. We check in and 15 minutes later we checked out after we saw the horrible accommodations. First we booked a king bed room. When arrived they said that they had no king rooms. We asked for a queen. They assigned us a room. It was a room with 2 double beds. Additionally there was a horrible odor, cigarette burns all over the rug, smoke detector detached and hanging by a wire from the wall, shredded curtains, stains on the bedding and generally filthy. UNSAFE AND UNHEALTHY. Do NOT stay here.

The bartenders here at Remington’s Lounge are beyond knowledgeable. Bryce and Bryan both give amazing service and never fail to bring a smile to my face. Best Old Fashion in Wichita hands down. They also give a discount to food and bar industry workers, what else could you ask for! Overall amazing drinks, amazing service, and good vibes.

Rooms are roomy. Staff is nice. Games to play in lobby. Best of all affordable. And pet friendly! Not bad for no frills. Its an older hotel but it has the basics. Clean and comfy and a great place to rest.
Had a wonderful stay. They have best value in town, spot location, quite nice & clean rooms, new firm beds. I noticed larger room compare to other hotels, Very friendly staff and close to everything. Definitely will stay in future.
