Pulled a long string out if a burrito while eating it. Told the owners daughter and showed the person who prepared the food and he never said or did anthing. Will never go in there ever again. The previous owner served good food.

Shrimp burrito special is what we always get and they never disappoint. Late night drive-through Mexican food cravings? They’ve got you covered. Sunday afternoon recovery cravings? Yep. They’ve got your fix then too. If you go in and sample the sauces and carrots on the salsa bar, that’s where it’s at! Yum! Don’t pass this West Central dive by!

there was a letter taped to the pick up window that if you did not check the order before you left that they would not refund or redo (attitude) greasy food with attitude

The Chile rellenos could have been grease soaked sponges...virtually no cheese inside and soggy.Rice and beans were good.Maybe an off day?
Visiting from out of town. Was reccomended this place, and it def fills the need! I enjoyed the carnitas street tacos with hot sauce. Carnitas were super tender! The chicken enchiladas were very flavorful, and the chicken was soooooo soft! I also got the regular beef tacos. They aren't bad. They are deep fried, and the shell is pretty thick. It seems to lose a bit of flavor in the frying process, but is still crunchy and filling. I added a lotta hot sauce into the shredded beef(which was soft and not tough), and it def added to the enjoyment of the taco. Will most likely be heading back before I leave town, and be returning on my next visit :)!

Normally the food is great here at Rene's so I thought I'd try something a little different. I ordered the steak with a side of rice and beans. I think it's a number 9 on the menu and you can clearly see that it's a steak with a bone in it on their wall menu. As you can see from my picture all I got was ground up dried out steak in little bits and no one even said anything to me as I walked out. I even told the front staff that I wanted my steak medium rare and they didn't correct me to tell me that a steak wasn't available. Completely disappointed with their false advertisement and I will be going back tomorrow to talk to the manager to get my money back. I will not be back. ?
