altho the food is amazing I have been to both locations while showing open online and they are closed At least update the websites to reflect this especially since both locations are way out west

The lady behind the counter was extremely rude the minute we walked in, she was clearly annoyed she had customers seeing as we were the only ones there. The place was disgusting and smelt of rotting fish. We had a personal thing come up and needed to leave asap however when we’d asked if we could receive a refund since we hadn’t gotten our food she essentially threw a fit and refused to give us a refund saying “well whose gonna pay for the food that’s being cooked then” I will not be returning terrible service, terrible atmosphere, and considering the smell I can only assume bad food.

I love the food,howeverthe person who works the register isn't very pleasant. If it wasn't for that I would eat there often. It's small but I can deal with it.

I got the 3 piece fish combo, fried with red beans and rice and hush puppies for $11.99. All of it was phenomenal, and I mean the best hush puppies and red beans & rice I've ever had. Only time I've had fried fish that good is when I made it. The homemade tartar sauce was amazing and the vibe was casually uplifting. However, since I rode a bike there and was carrying a backpack the lady working the front assumed I was homeless or some such addict and treated was such. I was as polite and respectful as anyone can be, I tipped the requisite 15% but it didn't matter. Overall review: Great food, relaxing atmosphere, and good service but could be better.

Was told 5 min for my pick up order. Turned into 25 minutes. 5 mintues of it was my order sitting on front counter while the employee kept going back to his phone and looked like he was playing a game. When I went up to counter to confront him and stopped playing with his phone and went to the delivery tablet saying he had to mark something as unavailable. Horrible horrible service.

I had 3 piece fish coleslaw and fries. It's a new place opened up in December they said. As far as Wichita and it's competitive restaurants. I recommend this place ☺️. Wichita has been needing a good place to go for takeout fish and fries. I am a custom to a onion leak with fried fish, but I'm not complaining on the taste. All in all I plan to visit Sam's again.
