Tried San Salvador Cafe on the recommendation of the Wichita Food and Booze Facebook group and my love of pupusas. AMAZING! Extremely affordable. Friendly staff and very clean environment.

Really good and really different food!Really good and really different food that doesn't disappoint. Plus, it's very reasonably priced and the staff was very nice! I've loved every dish I have gotten from here!

San Salvador Cafe, in a word, is fantastic. The pupusa's are delicious and filling. Their Friday and Saturday fare are flavorful, plentiful, and unique. While not elaborate, the decor is bright and welcoming. If you are looking for a small, unique little cafe, you can't go wrong with San Salvador Cafe!

The Cafe looks a bit sketchy on the outside - like it used to be a gas station. Trust the building and go inside! The service was fast and the servers were very polite. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. The food was very authentic and good. I would definitely recommend to others. It took me a second to even remember to take a picture of the food with my phone because it was so good.

The location is small but cozy and clean. The pupusas are flavorful and came out fresh and hot! The curtido was equally as fresh and had that nice crunch to complement the pupusas. The hot salsa was my preference, but they’re still good with the mild. Go try them for yourself!

Man if you haven't been to San Salvador Café for pupusas then wtf are you doing? These are the BEST in town i dont care what anybody says, i have tried 3 other places with pupusas and this one stands on top. Delicious, fresh, gooey, full of flavor and just all around orgasmic the sauce tastes so good with them as well, the rice is pretty delicious too. My son even gave the food a thumbs up and he doesnt play about his food like his mama

Best Papusas hands down, for hundreds of miles. If you don't try this place at least once, you're missing out.

Genuine ethnic food experience. Service can be slow if the kitchen gets jammed up with a lot of orders, but the food is authentic.Vegetarian options: Pupusas are available with shrimp or spinach, if you want to avoid meat.

I finally found what I have been craving! I tried spinach and cheese, zucchini and the jalapeno pupusas. My daughter ate the chicken pupusas. They were really good I plan to come back. I experienced great customer service.
