I was very impressed after I wrote this the owner contacted my husband and was very apologetic and made it right. I know the food business is hard and things happen his response was everything to us. I do think our order had just accidentally got skipped and things like that happen.
Maybe the fries would have been good if they were even a little hot. And considering we waited over 20 minutes for our food I thought they made it fresh to order. The pulled pork sandwich was warm at least. But needed more sauce. My husband on the other hand had the beef sandwich and was in bathroom with an upset stomach. I think they need to work on keeping food at a safe temperature. So for the $45 we spent that included a tip. I would not recommend this place. Very disappointment

I would normally recommend the hot link tacos because they normally are full of meat, lettuce, cheese etc… but today they were terribly lacking. Maybe they just had a bad day? Hopefully next time they are better. Will let everyone know.

Ordered a pulled pork from the food truck tonight. No flavor. The bbq sauce was pretty bland. Way overpriced. Would not recommend.

I have seen the Smokin Diner Food Truck twice near the area where I work, so the second time I saw it I decided to try it. They had a sliced brisket on the menu picture, so I decided to order the 2 meat dinner consisting of Brisket, Hot Links, Potato Salad, and Baked Beans. Upon making and receiving my order, the staff was extremely friendly. When I received my order the brisket was chopped not sliced, which made the brisket dry. The sides were flavorful and the meat was good, overall this was a good experience.

I have seen the Smokin Diner Food Truck twice near the area where I work, so the second time I saw it I decided to try it. Smokin’ Diner is the best food truck I have been to so far in Wichita. We got the Brisket dinner which comes with Pulled Pork, 1 Rib & Hot Link was a trip around the dinner, with a sample of each meat. The pulled pork was so tender and juicy, with the smoky flavor. The Rib was also cooked very well, with just the right amount of Randy’s special dry rub.We also tried the tacos with pulled pork so tender and sweet with homemade BBQ Sauce, tart cheddar cheese who doesn’t like lots of cheese. Spring Lettuce and tomatoes topped with Sour Cream. We enjoyed eating with new friends was great, large portion sizes, and friendly service was over the top. Thank You, Randy and Lil.
