The salad was just lettuce and croutons, not even cheese. Gravy was super runny. Green beans were not normal for there. And the flies were TERRIBLE! We could not wait to get the check and get out! Well not go back. This place used to be good but no one even said a word to us as we walked out

Chicken fried steak was some of the best I've had in awhile. The sides were great as well. Lots of food for the price. Will be back for sure.

I only visit to pick up my BFF's call in chicken fried steak dinner, but she apparently loves it

we set a reservation for 5:30 four hours in advance. We were not seated until 6:40 because someone who didn’t have a reservation got there before us. The food tasted decent. Probably won’t return.

We prefer early to avoid lines & waiting & great parking spots

When I call to place on order a know it’s going to be a certain price and get here and it has almost doubled because the just up the prices…..
good that’s not what your website state.
Better know what your spending up there…

Stroud’s Restaurant & Bar, 3661 N. Hillside in Wichita — Four violations on July 26 during a routine inspection. The kitchen floor is “in poor condition” with several divots and craters and rough edges that can’t be cleaned properly, dishwashing machine wasn’t sanitizing dishes, a tub of salad mix wasn’t cold enough, “heavy accumulation” of grease and grime along the floor and on several pieces of kitchen equipment, water in several areas in the kitchen including around the mop sink and floor drains which can encourage pathogens to grow and spread.

Went to Stroud’s Wichita today First visit there in at least 2 years what a treat it turned out to be service was prompt and pleasant
Food was as good as it ever was
Cannot say it too often it was well improved from my last visit when I swore to never return due to poor food servings and lousy service
