I usually love their normal food and sweets that they make at their shop, I also really love the small wedding cake I got from them for my wedding back in July. Everyone has always been kind from there, the only reason I put 3 stars was because the cupcakes I got from them (2 days prior to my wedding) were different colors from each other, some looking over cooked or like they ran out of the color or mix? Some cupcakes looked orange to me more then red velvet. They were also quite hard to chew & eat. However my husband & Is cake was good. A little disappointed because I had their sweets before that they usually just have in their shop and its typically delicious. Not sure what happened this time if maybe the cupcakes were baked way ahead of my wedding day or what but.. definitley different then how it usually is :(

great place, real diamond in the rough since wichita has VERY few vegan friendly breakfast spots. i’m used to eating vegan food in seattle, and Sunflour’s food is generally better while also being a third of the price. really glad i found this spot

My husband and I decided to try this establishment as I recently found out I am gluten sensitive. I am very disappointed with the customer service and the food I ordered/received. We walked in and found the menus. I saw a photo online of a red velvet waffle. I asked if I could get the red velvet waffle and the cashier was very rude to me said, “it was a special and they no longer had it.” My husband ordered and she was pleasant to him. I decided to order the cinnamon apple waffle. The wait was long. When the cashier brought out my food she didn’t give any eye contact and she again was rude to me was nice to my husband. When I cut into my waffle I found little pieces of something black all throughout my waffle. I know the cashier saw this! I feel like I was treated different and given less than quality food because of the color of my skin. I watched how she treated other patrons and it was not like how she treated me. I hope someone can speak to her and tell her that racism is unacceptable and she should treat every paying customer the same. I will never eat at this establishment again.

love Love LOVE Sunflour!!! Amazing vegan options…Breakfast is delicious! I get their Southern gravy melt and my husband likes the Sunrise (but made into a wrap). They also have vegan/gf treats (slices of cake, cookies, whoopie pies). You also can’t miss the Swerve Vegan Soft serve ice cream!!!

***PLEASE have grace and patience when coming in…this is not a fast food joint or chain. They are family owned and staffed…they also make every order when you order - fresh and hot when they deliver to your table. LOVE SUPPORTING LOCAL! ***

Everything on the menu looked really good and was vegetarian but could be made vegan. Ordered a vegan Cucumber Dill salad and a mango maui smoothie to go; both were delicious, and the salad dressing absolutely rocks.

My daughter is allergic to dairy. We love this place!! I wish I discovered it sooner.

Owners could improve customer service skills and how often gossiping about vendors in store.

This was a cozy, mom-and-pop style café that exudes warmth and charm.

The space is clean and inviting, not overcrowded, making it perfect for a relaxed meal.

I loved browsing the merchandise made by local artisans—it added a unique touch to the experience.

The service was friendly and the staff made sure we felt welcome.

Contrary to online recommendations, we didn’t need a reservation, which was a pleasant surprise!

Waffles: The Buckeye Waffle was outstanding! It was perfectly balanced with bananas, chocolate drizzle, and just the right amount of peanut butter and whip cream. No extra syrup needed—it had a delightful combination of crunch and tenderness. Price: $9

Smoothies: 16oz Buckeye Smoothie: This was a treat, mirroring the delicious flavors of the waffles in a refreshing drink. Price: $7

Soy Chorizo & Plantain: Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this dish—definitely my favorite from the meal. Price: $7

Beef & Cheddar Empanada: While not bad, it didn’t stand out compared to the other mouthwatering options. Price: $7

The Hibiscus Tea: It was a bit sweeter than I prefer for hibiscus tea and didn’t quite compare to others I’ve had. Price: $3.50 (24oz)

I had a delightful experience filled with a variety of delicious food options. Sunflour Café is a fantastic spot for vegetarians, offering vegan and gluten-free choices. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a meal—you won’t be disappointed!

A Taste of Local Bliss!
I just had the most delightful experience here and simply had to share! If you're looking for a local gem that truly delivers on flavor, value, and good vibes, this is your spot.
I started with their local infused cinnamon honey, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. The warmth of the cinnamon perfectly complements the sweet, local honey – I'm already drizzling it on everything!
Next up was the Mango Maui smoothie, and it was pure sunshine in a cup. Refreshing, vibrant, and packed with tropical flavor, it was the perfect pick-me-up.
And for a sweet ending? The vegan Divine chocolate cake was absolutely heavenly. Rich, decadent, and incredibly satisfying, you'd never guess it was vegan.
Beyond the incredible food, the experience was topped off by the excellent prices and quick service, always delivered with an authentic smile. It's clear that genuine care goes into everything they do here. Do yourself a favor and stop by! You won't be disappointed.
