Chinese food and the atmosphere at this location is great. Visited on a Wednesday I think. Prices are reasonable I would say.
Excellent ? shrimp! The lo mein was so delicious. The staff was very polite and I really enjoyed that there was a television. Very good atmosphere and delicious little buffet!
The second best Chinese buffet in town. I mainky order catering items from them and the entrees are competitively priced.
They were very understanding when my grandmother pulled a muscle. The food was decent and there's a good variety. Overall it is a great experience for the money.
The food was hot, cooked right, they kept the buffet bars filled up, good price and friendly staff
Great selection of food and good prices. Service is always great.
Absolutely love this place. The salmon is amazing and crawfish spicy and big.
The food was good, the service was horrible. The whole time we were there the staff would walk by and stare. They did it like 5 times, they would come by sweep the floor while we were eating, act like they were cleaning and stare, then send more staff and stare more. It made my family have a very bad experience. I hope no one has to deal with that.
I went and ate there and the food was fresh and was cold. Then the next day I got sick off the food! And poor service
Wish I could leave 0 stars. The Hubby and I wanted to take a friend visiting from out of town out for some great Chinese food. We decided on Super Buffet because I had been there before and I remembered it being very nice. To start off, we walked in at about 8, knowing they close at 9. Acknowledging the fact that it was a buffet, we naturally assumed we would have plenty of time without pushing the staff past 9. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was not at all busy, with maybe two other tables seated. The Waitress came by and took our drink order, and we headed to the buffet. The food looked fine. I got a small plate, and went back to our table. Our Waitress was hovering the entire time, and it was very uncomfortable. She seemed anxious for us to hurry. We were all working on our first plate, and had been there maybe twenty minutes when She brought us our check. We were all very confused, and rightfully put off. We went ahead and paid the check then, although it wasn't fast enough apparently as she was hovering and examining our tip line. Keep in mind we are still on our first plate. As we were working on our second plate, She tried to take my friends plate as She was eating off of it! We were appalled! When we all went back for a dessert plate, She told us to have a good night as if she wanted to dismiss us! We corrected her and explained that we weren't done yet. A man was mopping the floor at the buffet at this time, about 25 minutes before closing. There were no wet floor signs out. It was an absolute hazard. We tried to finish off as best we could, but she started vacuuming and left it running right next to our table as she went to unplug it. We were almost done, it was about 8:50 by now. All of the staff were standing there staring us down. One of the gentleman had his arms crossed, as if annoyed we were still there. I've never been so uncomfortable. $13.00 a person is way too much for the service we were exposed to, and the mediocre food we consumed. I will absolutely never be back, and I would recommend going anywhere else.
Restaurantji Recommends
Not up to usual standards much of the meats too long on the Buffett, dried out and tough.
Many choices, the whole family can dine and enjoy!
Extremely expensive compared to the quality of food served. Most things were cold, the shrimp was undercooked and fishy, and most things tasted off (I've eaten a variety of Chinese in my lifetime) note that the entire restaurant smelled like potent fish. it's definitely on the lower end of food quality. It was 45$ for three people and 3 glasses of water. Staff are extremely polite and patient but the grungy and dirty atmosphere and semi decent food weren't worth the money. This was even on a busy night in late December! I'd even say I recommend China star to any wandering Chinese food enthusiasts.
We went for lunch on a Monday. It was loaded with lots of tasty Chinese food options, and plenty for the meat and potatoes type, plus sushi, and lots of desserts. The service was fine as well. The waitress came by often picking up plates and offering more to drink.
I ate the general S. Chicken only but there is a decent amount of food there. They also have shrimp, i enjoyed that!
