Taco Tico is my favorite fast food Mexican restaurant. Whatever they use to season the hamburger makes it delicious. My favorite are the enchiladas. The meat and enchilada sauce are perfect. The chicken enchiladas are delicious too. Tacos, burritos and sanchos are pretty good. They have 4 maybe 5 different types of hot sauce and jalapenos to choose from and that is something else that sets them apart from other restaurants. The service is hit and miss. The store looks like it could use a cleaning sometimes but that is more of a messy customer thing. The atmosphere is nothing special. I'd give them a try if you already haven't. I'd never turn down the opportunity to eat here. Definitely would suggest. There's several Taco Tico's in the state and some in Oklahoma that I'm aware of and some locations have been unsatisfying but I think that's more of an employee quality but the stores in Wichita, Derby and Eldorado have all been pretty good. Give them a try!
Vegetarian options: I'd hate to be a vegetarian eating here because they don't really have a meatless selection, maybe nachos and taco salad minus the meat

Parking: The one's in North West Wichita and Derby are the best but the other locations aren't bad. There was one in Oklahoma that was bad because they microwaved TF out of my enchiladas, I believe it was the one in Shawnee
Kid-friendliness: If you have kids keep them away from the self serve salsa bar. There's one that is reaper or ghost pepper, I can't remember exactly, and it is insanely hot. If it gets in anyone's eye there is going to be hell to pay
Wheelchair accessibility: I don't think people in wheelchairs would find the store difficult to get around but I don't pay much attention to things like that because my legs work still
I read some idiot quoted as saying they were special because the only reason people come to Harvey county is the taco tico in Newton. I wouldn't go that far but I did eat at taco tico and it was good real good now I ate in Wichita, I had the tacos and a burrito they were delicious. My companion ate the taco burger I had a bite I'll get this next time along with a Sancho. I say go and eat there you won't be disappointed.

The employees are fantastic but it's the manager I have an issue with, I was eating with my boyfriend and his best friend (who works there, might I add, and it was his day off) she yelled at him for showing up at work at an "inconvenient time" and ordering food. To explain the situation a bit better the "inconvenient time" was just before the store got a rush and we ordered just before it got too busy, but instead of just giving us our food, the manager publicly yells at my boyfriend's best friend (aka one of the employees) about how we need to be more considerate when we order our food. Regardless of being an empolyee or the situation in general we were customers therefore we should be treated as such....
Always wait at least 10 - 15 minutes in the drive thru

The place was crowded, but I got a large order in a very timely manner. Food was good, the hot sauce could have been hotter, but that's just my preference.
