So there’s this really old man that works there. (For whatever reason, he’s a manager of some sort. I don’t think he’s the actual manager.) There’s this black guy that works there. One night, I was there eating my food and the black guy was taking the order of another customer. (Another black guy) The old man starts yelling at the black guy in front of all the customers because he thinks he’s trying to give the customer a free cup for a drink. The black guy (I don’t know his name, so I apologize) tells him he pushed the button for a drink. The old man starts yelling again “NOTHING IS FREE HERE!” The black guy just pays for the drink himself. I’ll never forget it. I felt terrible. The customer said he would pay for it since it didn’t show up on the screen, but the employee said it was ok and that he had it.
Fast forward several weeks later. I’m there again on this past Monday (may have even been Sunday) There’s an older Asian guy working the register taking orders. The old man comes to the counter and is laughing and smiling with the customers in a way that would indicate that they knew each other. I. KID. YOU. NOT…the old man tells the Asian man (idk his name either, so again I apologize) NOT to take the order! They tell them what they want to eat and the old man just GIVES THEM THE FOOD FOR FREE!! I remembered what happened before and felt so angry for the black guy. What horrible management!

Was so excited to see a new Taco Tico location on east side of Wichita. This was a place we loved while growing up and into adulthood until they closed in our hometown. My husband and I go here every time we go to Wichita. Wish there was one in KCK. Still enjoy this place!!
Much higher quality food then Taco Bell, and larger quantities. I was very satisfied with my food experience 😊

We waited in the drive thru way too long for an order two cars in front of us. The owner/manager should invest in learning how to park larger orders to move customers faster. Otherwise, the Rock Road Taco Tico has never messed up my order and they have always been nice.

Grew up with “all about the taste”. This location never disappoints. Staff is considerate and orders are out quickly. Best stuff for this guy are the following: super deluxe enchilada, cheese enchiladas, meat and potato burrito, and regular or super tacos. Love the salsa bar in the restaurant. Keep this local institution going!
Guy taking the order was rude, kept talking over me. His tone made me feel like we were being a nuisance to him and unwelcome. Overall just apathetic staff.

Went to the East side taco tico today and ordered some bean and cheese burritos and got a friggin ROCK in our food don't normally go to this side of town but had some errands to run tried to call about it and was just hung up on absolutely horrible service and food
