Teppanyaki Grill & Sushi Buffet

The food was disappointing and it was expensive for a buffet. The staff was decent.

Waiter forced me for a tip and did not give me the correct change I gave them 15 and my bill was only 13.63 and tried telling me I only got 4 cents left never eating here again

Went to Wichita today to hit a chinese buffet. Was sad to see shanghai was closed to we drove across town to this place. Horrible. Not single thing i tasted was good.
Food was hot but bland and gross. Unseasoned meats. Over cooked noodles. The sushi looked so bad i didnt even chance it. There was a boy that stood about 20 feet away and every time we finished something on our plate he tried to take it even if there were other items we hadnt started yet. I finally got mad and snapped at him. Drove 45 minutes and spent $50 for the worst food ive had in years. Zero stars

Restaurant is in great need of repairs or remodeling.

I went here to take my family out to dinner when I get up to the register I wanted to pay right away before we sat down because I didn't want my siblings to pay for it so I went ahead and paid and the lady asked if I wanted to tip on my credit card receipt and I said no not at this time will the owner heard me and he yelled out to the other employees and his language no tip no tip as they brought out our drinks they just set it down said here you go and walked away I was the one that took the first sip then my daughter and then my fiance about 3 minutes later we all felt sick to our stomachs we couldn't even eat our food I had asked about the drinks and the lady says the drinks were fine there was nothing inside of them but what I had asked was is this pop or something else if they had put anything in there

Horrible experience and will never go back....... the guy that cooks on the grill needs replaced... He is rude and bangs his jar for tips making you feel responsible to leave something instead of just doing his job that he's paid for and letting the people decide on how good of a job he did. VERY Unprofessional !

The food was good, the silverware was clean, the staff are friendly, and the price isn’t bad at all. Was a solid way to start my day.

I was finally able to visit and I want to start off with the positives. The atmosphere is great and our server was very accommodating. The selection of food is awesome there is a lot to chose from and the dessert section has a wide variety of options. I went around 7:30 PM on a Friday night and it was pretty dead.. Not to many people dining in, which at a buffet I look at to be a double edge sword. Now that being said I was truly disappointed and let down because A LOT of the food I tried was room temperature at best and on my first plate I tried the chicken skewer.. It was literally COLD! After that I spent a lot of time putting bits and pieces of food on my plate and checking if it was hot before I served myself a larger portion. I found that if you picked from the bottom of the trays you will actually get heated food. Now the food that I was able to find warm enough to eat was actually really good. The Lo Mein, General Tso, chicken broccoli, and the black pepper chicken were amazing.. The other items I’m sure would’ve been great if it were warmer than room temperature. If you’re thinking about going I would suggest maybe going at a busier time where food is getting rotated more often or just double checking if the items you’re choosing are actually hot lol.. Wish I can say that I’m sure that I’ll be returning but I was really disappointed about the cold food. Place has a lot of potential though.

It was disgusting. The food was made for maybe not even the elderly. Maybe if you catch them on a good day, the bathrooms were dirty, nasty feces everywhere like diarrhea type nasty could not flush toilets just one, after that everything just seemed nasty ? all around bad although they were nice. Ridiculous prices for such dirtiness.

This is a nice Asian buffet with a lot of options. It’s a buffet. It’s not anything gourmet but my kids absolutely love it and I do too. We can each get something we like and it’s just a fun experience for the littles. My son loved the Mongolian grill. My daughter is starting to like sushi so it’s nice they have the sushi bar. She can experiment with what she likes and it doesn’t break the bank. The staff are very nice. We just went and the total cost for three of us for dinner was $45.

730pm thursday, Food was cold and did not taste good have been here before and its been great this was complete opposite... when ringing out they didnt ask how food was but pointed at the suggested tip section on receipt which we zeroed out

So this is quite a complicated one. This place has a lot of unrealized potential. Just a few changes and this could be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Wichita. As it stands however it's not great.

The decor is very dated and there are a couple of blatant health and safety violations. With a little effort and a few buckets of paint this could easily be rectified. Paint the boat, re-cover some chairs. Install led lights to brighten up the place a bit, right now it's a dark dingy hole.

The entryway will immediately discourage you from entering, it is worn and uninviting. For the love of God please clean/paint the doors. (Image attached)

The food is mixed, the stuff that has been made on the day is really good, the sauces are flavorful and the quality is great. HOWEVER the dishes are made in massive quantities and the amount of patrons doesn't support this so food is sitting for days uneaten, and this is evident in the chewy, lukewarm chicken and the vast warmish trays of salad. Solution? Prepare a third as much at a time. It'll be fresher safer and tastier.

Prices are slightly below other local buffets but only a little and not enough to offset the lower quality.

We visited a couple of times as I felt we just got there at a bad time but it seems it's not that. We will be back in the future to see if anything has changed and I hope it does as this restaurant truly has potential, right now this is probably not worth the visit.
