Wholesome food by a solid chef!!

The tomato bisque soup was absolutely out of this world!!! The picture is of my third helping ( in which I didn't want to take the time to snap a photo ? )

The "beans" ( I'd lose my Texas card if I called it chili ) were very flavorful!!

Don't let the location or appearance fool you; this food is DELICIOUS! Everything is house-made and fresh, and there are options for folks who are allergen conscious. The owner is happy to talk about ingredients, and will even grab off-menu items from the back if you need something different. Everything is clean and organized. Highly recommend the tomato bisque and the crostini. The lunch soup and salad bar is packed with yummy options. Even if you have to go out of your way, this little spot is worth it!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options all available. The owner went out of her way to say that these folks are important to her.

If I could give zero stars I would. Gravy tasted rancid and was cold. Potatoes were mushy, greasy, and also cold. In fact all our food was cold. We could have gone to Newport grill for the same price, over 50 bucks for 2 people for breakfast. Most disgusting food I've ever paid for. Won't be back.

Update: We were able to go back the next week-they took great care of us and gave us our next meal free to make it up to us! They know their technology stinks at times; they do their best with what they have.

Food was great, and we would like to return, but we probably won’t return if we can’t resolve the double charge on my debit card. We were there this past Sunday. They did have issues running our debit card to pay. The system “timed out” just when I entered my address in the verify the card, so they needed to run the card again. We were informed they have had issues with their technology. When I checked my bank balance later, I noticed two charges that were pending. I was hoping my credit union could help me, but I was told that the restaurant would have to issue a refund. Now, both charges have cleared our account, and I have to figure out how to recoup the double charge. They don’t re-open until Thursday, so here we are with $51 extra out until we can speak with someone about a refund…and we live almost an hour away. The food is really good, but honestly not worth $101 total we ended up paying due to the restaurant’s technology.

Went to their Sunday buffet. This is the first time eating there, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Some of the food was okay, but I definitely wouldn’t pay $20 dollars for it. They also charged 3.50 for black coffee on top of that. Also waited 15-20 minutes for them to refill the biscuits and gravy (best tasting thing they had out) but decided not to wait any longer and just leave.

I’ve been told their regular menu food is awesome, so I wouldn’t count them out, but would not go back to the buffet.

Great food! Went there for the Sunday brunch buffet & it was amazing! Good biscuits & gravy, meatloaf, home made pepper bacon, made to order omelettes!
Will definitely be back!

Shannon catered our Administrative Professional Day breakfast. The opinion at Depew Gillen Rathbun & McInteer is unanimous - fantastic food and service!!

This was our first visit to Fusion. The menu was full of dishes that sounded delicious and new. My husband tried the Savory waffles (Waffalito?). He did end up asking for syrup. Something about eating waffles without the syrup didn't feel right. So he ended up eating the savory on top and then finishing up with the waffles for his sweet. I ordered the overachiever. It's basically a breakfast burritos smothered in sauce with a side of potatoes. The potatoes were delicious. They had onions and peppers cooked in that had a nice char to them. Both dishes were good. I would say if I went back I would definitely like to try one of their sweet waffles. I had a bite of my husband's waffle it was pretty yummy. As for service. The staff was very friendly. We were greeted right away, and our waitress put on a fresh pot of coffee for us. Another lady checked on us a little later to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is pretty plain. There weren't very many decorations and it seemed very empty. This has very strong mom and pop vibes to it.

Service was good, Atmosphere was good, food was so-so (if you like lukewarm food). There were only about 10 customers in the building while we were there, so there was really no reason for food not to be hot when it got to the table. Most likely, there will not be a 2nd visit
