You can’t go wrong with the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. Creamy deliciousness! Spinach artichoke dip is flavorful and thicker than most dips of the same kind, which I personally like. The drink special on Wednesday was $5 Moscow mules with a seemingly heavy pour on the ginger beer, but good nonetheless. The Hill is a great spot for lunch or dinner with an outdoor patio that’s in the shade for most of the afternoon and evening.

Food was ok, service was excellent, but be aware—they charge an additional % for paying with credit cards. It is not posted on the door, inside, or anywhere on the menu. You’ll find out about the additional charge when they tack it on the bill and give you your check. We even asked where it was posted. And that was their answer. Many places have this charge, but you are made aware of it BEFORE sitting down. Poor business practice.

Had a mushroom Swiss burger, while the burger itself was very flavorful, I sure was searching for the mushrooms & onions it promised. The onion rings, well if you like just eating coating they would be great. The onion inside the coating was very thin & lacked any taste of onion (they are huge though!!). Mozzarella sticks were also huge & had great flavor!!
This is my second (and last visit). I came for lunch today at 2 pm. It wasn’t busy. The hostess/manager sat at the bar the entire time watching TV. My waitress was pleasant, but brought me a plate of almost burnt fries with my burger and never returned to freshen my drink or check on me. After 20 mins I had to call out several times to the manager watching TV to let her know the fries weren’t right. They made excuses that “sometimes it’s the oil”. The waitress should have noticed they were burned before she brought it to the table and had them remade.
