Hidden little gem in the Wichita art museum. For faster check in for Sunday brunch, reservation is recommended because it gets busy. They have open space with big windows to see the view of the river and the trees. The ambience is great. I like the different combinations/varieties of meals together. Wonderful views of the gardens and Arkansas River. Such a peaceful environment to enjoy a meal with family. We ordered the quiche of the day, chicken salad, salmon toast with eggs and then the eggs Benedict. Delightful Easter meal. Service was slow but the exquisite food made up for the wait. Sophie was exceptional.
The menu was extensive for an art museum. My pan seared salmon was fabulous. The wine selection was really bad. Like $5-7 wine retail. Seriously? Art and wine go hand-in-hand. The only drinkable wine was the New Zealand sauvignon blanc. Everything else was Barefoot or Woodbridge quality and worse. Also, I never received bread even though the tables by me did.
