There’s just so much wrong here. There is literally only six spots to park in up front and maybe three in the back, the road through the parking lot is also a one way.I’ve never been here before and when I walked in no one greeted our party so we were left to wonder around until we figured it out. They were out of corn tortillas, here where I should have just walked out. I hate flour, but everyone else still wanted to try it.I got the “Democrat” and the “Grande Burrito. The burrito was highly mediocre. Do NOT recommend. The tacos are, at best, okay- but when you factor in that they are $5+ a pop… nahhhh bro. While we were eating, I had the bartender and a hostess check on us and get me boxes for our food. I appreciate that kind of customer service.I definitely wouldn’t choose to eat here, but if I was with a group that desperately wanted to- I would.
My first time eating at torchy’s ! Can I say the most amazing environment me and my family were greeted when we walked in and customer service was outstanding ! Our server Rachel was absolutely so helpful and had great personality the decor to the place was absolutely amazing the service was very quick and the GREEN CHILE AND FAJITAS TACO WAS MOUTH watering!!!! Super amazing place to eat ! I will be back to eat here again and telling everyone about this taco spot !!
This place is packed! The energy in here is high and vibrant. There was a line to order but we got through quickly. The food was good. We sat outside where the view over watches rock and 21st st. Now for the food, The Barbacoa seemed over cooked to the point where it was almost like a mush texture. I ordered the “democrat” and “crossroads” and my wife ordered the “democrat” and “cougar”. They were delicious but my only complaint was the meat being to soft. Other than that I would def recommend.
Wasn't bad although not the flavor I like. I believe it was a mgr he wasn't very friendly. Definitely needs some mgr training!!!! Food portions were more than normal places, sauce is decent and comes with chips, watch what your ordering or you'll end up with lots and lots of chips.
We ate some Hillbilly nachos and a j*** chicken taco...good stuff. If you have a weak stomach, take some pepto before you go, because its good food so you don't wanna miss out. All fresh daily, including several salsas. Their prices don't break the bank either. They will add or subtract ingredients to fit your taste buds. The music is loud and made for young people. There is a bar, it is well tended.
This is my first time here and I was impressed with the staff and the food most of all. The staff was friendly curtious and friendly had a smile on the face. The food came out hot and fresh.
Good service and very flavorful food are the first things that come to mind. This was our first visit to Torchys and we will definitely be back! The service was outstanding! Staff were super nice and took the time to explain the menu to us when ordering as well as explaining what was on the tacos. I wish we got the cashiers name so we could give her a shoutout for her amazing service. We ordered the Scallywag taco, the Fried Avocado taco, the Grande Burrito, and tried the chips and queso. In comparison to other taco shops in the area these tacos were heaping full and bursting with flavor; as for their size they were 6 inches. The fried avocado came with a cream sauce that I honestly can’t remember what it was but it reminded me of avocado ranch and was a nice addition to the taco. For the Scallywag taco, it is new for the month of February and the coconut flavor on the shrimp was done perfectly; it was lightly battered, fried so it was crisp on the outside, and the inside was not dry. The burrito was moist with good flavor throughout and was about the size of 2.5-3 tacos; it was very filling. The chips were lightly salted, crisp, mild in spiciness, and a good size to share. We found there to be plenty of seating room and there was even to go containers and aluminum foil by the drink station for you to help yourself to when ready to go.
Was a little skeptical trying this place but was actually surprised. Food is good but a little pricey, we ordered 3 tacos and chips and queso, was about $30. Ordered the veg taco but added chicken, they are pretty stuffed so really 2 tacos is plenty. Would return
Went in for a quick lunch and the service all be it was fast. Issue was I ordered Chicken Fajita tacos, when they showed up at my table they were dripping literally in grease completely coating the tortillas. I sent them back as there was no way to eat them , they showed up a second time and again grease running out of the tortilla filling the bottom of the basket. I got up threw them away and left. I have been to Torchy's in Texas ,Oklahoma etc and never had a problem like this. Love the place just not this place , will not return.
My first trip to Torchys was great. The food was surprisingly delicious. I never would have paired some of the ingredients myself, but they really work. Vegetarian and gluten free options available.

Love this place! Really good tacos, and interesting combinations of flavors. We loved the green chili queso; spicy but not overwhelming heat, great flavor. The service was great; fast and friendly. Cool atmosphere. There is a full bar, and a good selection of beverages. It’s a place adults can go for a good time, but also family friendly. We will definitely be back!!
Food was OK, it's a specialty taco place, shrimp, brisket, chicken... small portions big price, Everything is al la Carta. Brisket taco, small flour tortilla shell $4.50, queso dip small cup, 4 - 6 oz, $5.00 plus bag of chips. My wait....over 20 minutes. Normal supposed to be 10. Nice place though.
Torchy's made for a fun date night. We split the green chile queso and the grande burrito without beans. The queso is made with green chiles, has a dollop of guacamole and sprinkled with cojita cheese, it is awesome if you like some spice. We ordered the grande burrito without beans and it was an average burrito. The meat and tortilla were really good but the rest of the filling was average. The paloma we ordered was also very good!
My Husband and I ate lunch there today! Both of us had always wanted to try it but never had. We couldn't believe the food menu OR the drink menu ? We were blown away by the delicious food and the Green Chile Queso was out of this world! Loved it! But , most importantly, We were welcomed to sit at the bar and our bartender Megan had to be the best part of our experience ! We asked questions about the menu and she was so knowledgeable about everything on the menu, I was so impressed! She truly was so friendly and helpful ! If every restaurant could only have a Megan they would make it big ! She is Gold to this place ! You definitely have a Gem at your establishment! Thank You for a wonderful experience today ?
The food was really good, however, the portions are very small and overpriced for the portion size. For not being a full service restaurant ( you order from a counter, but they bring the food to you) and not having the full service complementary chips and salsa, I felt like I was paying full service prices and not getting a good value. I still give them 3 out of 5 because Thier food is excellent.
