Our experience was amazing. Their menu was slightly different than what we found on this app but we were still able to find some amazing meals. We had the deviled eggs for an appetizer and all I can say is wow. The other reviews on here don't do them justice. I had the mahi-mahi with a mushroom and bacon cheesy sauce over rice and that was without a doubt the best mahi-mahi I've ever had. I also had a Sweet Caroline cocktail with my meal and that just added to the awesome experience we had. My Gf had the Cajun shrimp and she absolutely loved it. We will definitely be eating here again.

This place is fantastic Irish coffee too the wines are excellent. Had the spinach artichoke appetizer for starters was absolutely perfect. Other places I have eaten it’s loaded with salt but not here. The BLT with an egg over easy as ordered with a very fresh avocado is sensational with perfectly toasted bread. Fish tacos were divine. We even showed up at just before closing and they took very good care of us with their service serving all 7 of us. Then to top it off there carrot cake again so delicious. And might I add try the banana pie too wow so good. Again thanks for your hospitality. March 9 2024
One of my favorite nice restaurants to eat, it helps that it's in the perfect location for myself! Have had some of the BEST meals here. The food is perfect; the dishes they serve are simply beautiful, the array of seafood dishes to please my salty taste buds, the non traditional meals that aren't what you'd normally find on a fancy restaurants menu but are oh so delicious, and the QUALITY of the food is the best.I love the atmosphere. Its "cozy" and perfect for dates in the evening, during the day it's bright and inviting! They have a patio for those evenings when you just want to sit, drink some wine, and watch that gorgeous Wichita sunset. The staff has always been incredible. This is a place you can go, and not have to worry about a single thing, because they take care of everything.Once, I ordered the scallops on risotto meal, and as it was brought out and placed in front of me, the manager was right behind the server with a plate with two extra scallops just because he didn't like the size I had received! And these are the huge scallops, the expensive, and utterly mouth watering kind. That's the kind of service you can expect at Mike's Wine Dive.I always highly recommend this place if your really into wine as well. They actually train the staff on wine. So you won't get a basic answer to your "What do you recommend from the wine list?" question, instead they actually are very knowledgeable!And another, this one's a secret, because I really just want to keep the information all for myself but I'll share....try the burger. I'm pretty sure it's on the lunch and dinner menu, but it's just the "Dive burger". It is literally the BEST burger I have ever, EVER eaten. Yeah, I said that, that takes commitment! It's the gourmet beef mixed with bacon that makes it melt in your mouth and so so juicy. Topped with melty savory Gruyere cheese. And those tender caramelized onions! Garlic jam & Dijon aioli give it a sweet touch, that is the "cherry on top". I have plans for this burger in my future, a LOT!

Very happening place in Wichita, Douglas neighborhood. I like that you can reserve a table at open table so you are not waiting. Good customer service. Hummus was okay, not tasty like I am used too. I felt it was plain but I like the carrot and cucumber combination with pita bread. Wild salmon was delicious with a tasty rice and mixed vegetables combo. Beef steak with mushroom sauce was okay. Good restaurant for date night.

I like the open table to reserve your place so you are not waiting to be seated. Great customer service. I do not remember our waiter name but she took her time to explain the menu. We started with hummus and chicken and it was okay. I have had better hummus. It was not tasty, I felt it was plain. I liked the cucumber and carrot combination. Salmon and rice is delicious. Beef steak in mushroom sauce was good. Great dinner date atmosphere.

Had a bottle of Weingut Julius Pinot Noir from Germany, but was unable to find on Vivino. Looking at the back of the bottle, the Importer is Eastborough KS, which is Wichita. The service was attentive and friendly. Once we received our mains there was no checks on drinks. My wine glass set empty through my main. I probably didnt need any more, but I expect at least someone to ask. We dined as a group of 4, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I would highly recommend the Mahi Mahi. We will be revisiting this place.

Our waitress Donna was excellent. It was first time for my friend to have brunch there and he enjoyed it. The deviled eggs are very impressive. I had a turkey and Swiss sandwich for Sunday brunch and it's delicious. The noise level was acceptable.

Came here to met a couple for business and the atmosphere was perfect for that. The staff was excellent too. Food is a 3-4. Here is what is missing. I had Steak Frites. A favorite so in comparison to others it fell a bit short, It was ok, even good, but for the price as an entree only seemed a bit steep. Again taste was good, not exceptional. The Marsala sauce on top was average. The fries seemed to be packaged fries. Again nothing was bad, it just isn’t rise to distinction.We did get dessert and chose the Wichita cheesecake. We were told it is from a local bakery and it WAS special. $9 and for a rather small piece-but that was ok, actually great because the taste was just that good. Distinct and delicious, served with fresh whipped crème just slightly sweetened- just the way I like it.Overall a 4. I plan to come back when I need a quiet place to visit. I will try something else and report back.

Wait staff came off as pushy to get us through our dinner even after we said we were there to enjoy the courses and take out time. I saw why when the inflated bill came; made it very apparent they were trying to get as many people through as possible. Otherwise the service was nice. The food itself was very good. The cheesecake bites were served sitting in a chocolate sauce but still had their paper wrappers wrapped around them, which for as much as I paid felt like a rip-off as it was something any cheap dinner could go down to Dillons and get and toss on a plate. The value to service and goods ratio felt heavily skewed to the point I won't be doing this again and wouldn't recommend it. Which is a shame because the food itself was great, just not hundreds of dollars great.
