The food tasted good. It was not particularly spicy despite the fact I ordered Spicy Pork. My disappointment was in paying about $13 for a meal that could not have contained more 1.5 or 2 ounces of pork. A few small bits of pork about the size of a nickel is how I would describe it.

TLDR: Beware it is now a plastic Teaspoon Ramen Joint

Used to love this place, I was stationed in Japan for 2 years before coming and it used to be so similar, I don’t know if they are under new management in the last two years but it’s barely a step up above instant ramen now, the broth was bland, the meat wasn’t seasoned and all of the vegetables toppings seemed like they were from yesterday and reheated in a microwave. Additionally they don’t have bowls or silverware anymore, that’s not to bad I guess but it is a horrible experience imho, especially when the spoon they give you to eat ramen with is a fricking plastic teaspoon

Makes me really sad, I have always looked forward to it whenever I come back in town. Won’t be going back since I can get the same experience out of a microwave.

It's not a real ramen

It's small restaurant but so good and was warm and can taste the seasoning.

I swung by this ramen joint within an hour of closing, hoping to catch a slurp fest. The gyoza? Absolute heroes—crisp, golden pockets of deliciousness that could easily win an award for “Best Supporting Snack.”

Now, the ramen itself was a mixed bag. The broth, however, was a true star—rich, savory, and downright delicious, like a warm, comforting hug in a bowl. Unfortunately, the noodles were a bit clumpy, as if they hadn’t quite gotten the memo about smooth dancing in that tasty soup. And the toppings? Sparse enough to make you wonder if they were on a strict diet, especially considering the cost.

All in all, if you’re in it for a dinner adventure with stellar broth and top-notch gyoza, you’ll enjoy the experience. But if you’re dreaming of a perfectly choreographed ramen performance, this one might have missed a few cues—even an hour before closing shouldn’t mean the act winds down early!

Yokohama Ramen is a fantastic spot for a comforting, flavorful meal! The broth is rich and delicious, the noodles have the perfect texture, and the toppings are fresh and well-balanced. The service is friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re a ramen enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this place won’t disappoint. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Wichita!

Best bowl of ramen I've ever had. Delicious and filling, with a unique flavor. Only criticism is the place is a bit cramped, so it's better to get takeout.

The ramen was very oversalted. Haven't had this issue at other ramen restaurants.
0 service. They just hand you the menus and the you have to go up and order the food. They still expect you to tip? All they do is give you the bagged food to go even if you're eating inside the premises.

The black garlic tonkatsu felt nearly inedible due to the high sodium but it became tolerable after feeling forced to eat because it wasn't a cheap bowl of food.

The boba is actually very good. I'd come back only for the boba and nothing else.

Food is stellar. Not a great place to sit and eat.

Ramen was bland and gross. Hasn’t been good the past two times I went. Not going again.

Food is extremely good and service was good. The front door doesn't close properly so on a cold windy door it comes into the front tables. The restrooms definitely need some work too.
