Seemed OK, the price of food is pretty high tho.
The waitress was helpful and the food was amazing. The portion sizes are very large also.
This is an old Kich restaurant... expect a gruff style to go with the ambiance... its part of the mystique!!! Your not walking into 2023... your back in the old diner of the 70's or 80's...Where some of the ladies knew their customers by name and character and treated them like family, good and bad when they needed it!!!If your looking for fast go to Braums, if you want to relax, talk to your neighbor or actually talk to your kids well you might order a pancake and sit down a while trying to eat it....I read the reviews and realized if you can't step back in time you probably won't have fun here... I never thought about rudeness because I grew up having pie with these ladies as a kid and sometimes their feet hurt, or their tired... Waitresses are humans too... but family is the kind of atmosphere I always thought it was here, the good, bad, and ugly... food has always been good I think thats their way of saying I love you... Come Again...Ps...I hope for some painting sometime near future, that would add smiles something a bit brighter maybe???God bless
This place is not fancy . We eat breakfast there regularly. Its one of those places locals eat and the waitress know your order. I person said they weren't friendly. I disagree they are busy! They don't have time for you to take your time looking at menu when you should have looked and made your mind up when you sat down.
Very cozy atmosphere and the service is amazing the waitresses are friendly and now their stuff. It has become a Friday tradition for our family.
Will not be going back to Hunter’s Cafe in Winfield.Walked in, there were 7 tables open…. They were NOT busy at all.We had to wait…. Which is fine, but we could have been seated….Then we finally get seated and the waitress was rude and hateful…… asked very rudely what we wanted to drink….. then when she brought the drinks back, she threw the straws across the table and almost hit the girls & Rob with them….We all looked at each other and I said “nope it’s not worth a charge. We’re leaving.”0 stars and they need to hire better people who actually like their job!
Service was horrible. We were told to stand and wait when we seen multiple tables available. And upon ordering our drinks, the waitress threw our straws on the table and was very rude. All the waitresses were very rude and hateful. Our group of 4 walked out... 0 stars!
Great place to eat and the prices are good also. Will go back.
This place is dark and dingy. It's not very clean. Although it is a great small town place to get a great breakfast at an affordable price!
Food is really good. Not expensive. It's home town cooking at its best. Atmosphere isn't the best. But you can count on good coffee and good food.

If you can get passed the creepy environment.. The food was pretty good with huge portions.. If your a bigger person the chairs are not comfortable I had to sit on the edge of my chair..
It's a great place to get some real food. They do a good job.
The women here was very rude we came in from out of town to catch the college football game last night and was on our way to travel back and we heard a lot of good things about this place. Upon arriving we were greeted with rudeness and it just went down hill from there. They need to learn some customer service because it was no need to be rude if they didn’t want to work then just stay at home. I’m sad we didn’t get to have the experience that everyone was talking about.
A small place, to eat the service is a tad slow but the food is good and reasonable
The full severing of hobo is a lot of food I could have just ordered the half. I enjoyed it.
