Shindigs leaned into the train depot aesthetic, which was cohesive and interesting. Not only were there lots of train-related artifacts throughout the restaurant, but it is located right next to an active railroad.

The service was okay. The servers and hostess were kind and enthusiastic, but our order had several errors. Everyone at my table enjoyed the food. I had the Katsu Me Outside special. The pork was the star of the dish. I thought the rice was a bit gummy and the slaw was bland. The pork was excellent though!

My last thought is that the whole restaurant is very loud. It is tough to hear your party at your own table. There isn't anything to absorb the sound.

We had a great experience today. Service was amazing, but let me tell you about the Tomahawk Steak, absolutely amazing! I suggest to share this wonderful feast. Thank you Shindigs for being a great spot in Winfield to enjoy food, drinks, and company.

Our previous visit was on Saturday evening, and I enjoyed a quite good burger. This time, on Friday evening, the restaurant didn't appear overly crowded. Our party of six adults and six children was seated promptly. The waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive, carefully confirming our order. I ordered the junkyard fries with pulled pork, and my wife had a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The children's meals arrived approximately 15 minutes before the adults'. By the time the adults' meals were served, the children had finished eating and were becoming restless. The pulled pork was overcooked and dry, and my wife found her burger unappetizing. The food appeared to have been kept under a warming lamp for some time, as evidenced by the crusty gravy on my son's chicken fried steak. Perhaps they had a challenging evening; after all, nobody is perfect and we all can improve. This was only our second visit, so our overall experience is currently evenly balanced. As mentioned, the waitress provided excellent service. Negative reviews sometimes stem from kitchen issues.

Tried again, and again disappointed!! Grilled chicken breast was very small portion and very dry and overcooked!!! Onion rings were cold and hard!!! Service was great, but food not great, especially for the high price!!! Probably wont be back!!!

The mushroom pesto is my favorite! I was in town on business and ate here twice, it was so good! Service was excellent and friendly. I love the polished industrial look, they really put a lot of thought into designing this pace. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

Worst customer service ever!! We walked in the door and the hostesses were arguing with another worker instead of seating us. Then my wife and I ordered chicken fried chicken and mine came out as a chicken fried steak. I called the waitress over and pointed this out and she says give her a minute then she comes back to the table and says I have them making it now but I must take this one. I said cant you just take the steak so I may keep eating? She said no and took my entire meal. My food came out long after my wife had finished eating. Place is ran by morons, and the food was mediocre at best. Management never came to the table and we were charged full price. We won’t be back.

The Sloppy Jalopy is possibly the best sandwich I have ever had! The French fries are coated and so not my fave but I know people like them so I'm not even going to ding them for that. Great menu, great service and a great space.

I had the Sloppy Jalopy, which was a French dip on steroids - tender, juicy roast beef plus sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions, with American cheese. That probably wouldn't be my first choice but somehow it works. I'm a French fry snob and coated French fries are not my favorite but these were good enough and the sauce was tasty. Highly recommended!
