I've driven by Bert's for years and never stopped. I stopped in a few weekends ago for a couple of beers. I didn't eat, so I can't review the food. The bartender was very friendly and the few people that were there a the time were also friendly. I would definitely stop in again and try the food.
We have always wanted to stop here on our way to KC, but it was never the right time. We both had haystacks, which were delicious. The food arrived in a timely fashion, and the bartender/ waitress was amazing. We will be back!
Finally, we got curious enough and dropped in for dinner. I asked for a mocktail and told our waitress to just make one she thought would be good. Not only was it delicious, it also looked nice too. Everything was reasonably priced and tasty. The building was old and the place could have been in better shape but it was clean and tidy. I recommend...
