Drove into town for breakfast and stopped by The Bulldog and was told after 10 minutes they didn't have any eggs, I stated you don't any eggs and she replied that is what I said. I replied breakfast was why we came here and eggs was something I expectied and that we would have to go elsewhere to get breakfast. The waitress huffed stomped her foot and walked of. So we went down the street to Southend Country Cooks & Bakes, we where pleasantly greeted by the husband...
Fantastic local place! Been through a few times to grab some breakfast biscuits. Sausage, bacon, and great tenderloin, they have all been great!If im going to spend money in something to eat.... it makes me feel good to know I'm putting it back into my community, into the hands of some hardworking neighbors and not some big corporation.
