We’ve been going to this dock for half a century. My husband more of it than me. We’ve seen it change hands many times and watched as it grew from being a tiny little place to what it is today. We feel like Wisdom Dock is our second home!!
People are always quick to complain about things and people so I want to take a minute to do the opposite!

The Floating Hotel is an absolute must for a weekend fishing trip in the spring/fall. The accommodations were nice(the pictures on the website don't do the rooms justice). And the convenience of parking your boat steps from your door was awesome after a long cold day on the water. I don't know if I came back down for a short fishing trip if I would ever stay anywhere else.
Great place, GREAT FOOD and a wonderful staff. I would recommend it to everyone plus now they are having live music so get out there and support this place.

The Wisdom Resort is a beloved dock and marina that has been a part of the community for over half a century. The staff at the Wisdom Resort are praised for their exceptional customer service and willingness to go above and beyond. When a couple's boat experienced a catastrophic issue, the staff and fellow dock residents immediately sprang into action to help. They pumped out the boat, provided a room for the couple to stay in, and worked tirelessly to move their belongings to safety. Even after the boat was deemed unfixable, the staff continued to provide support and assistance, earning the gratitude of the customers.
The Wisdom Resort offers a range of amenities, including gas for boats, snacks, rental boats and houseboats, as well as ice, ice cream, and clothing for purchase. While the restaurant is currently closed for refurbishment, it is expected to reopen in the near future, potentially by 2023.
Overall, the Wisdom Resort is a welcoming and supportive community that prioritizes the needs of its customers, creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere for all who visit.
