Went in to purchase a 12 inch bike. Didn’t see the one I needed, asked an associate. She said they were prepped for inventory, I didn’t know what that meant. I asked if they had one in the back, she radioed someone and asked if I could get one and he said “ No!”.. she said because we are prepped.. so I asked when I could get one, she said after inventory, so I asked tomorrow? Her “ if they’re finished with inventory but I can’t guarantee it “ . I have worked retail and have never been where they wouldn’t sell product because of inventory. The computers keep track of all things purchased. I kept calm, never got an attitude, unlike what I was receiving. They had a size 16 but I needed a smaller one.
Cashier made a deal about my 18 month old eating a banana and lines were crazy long, including self check out, with 2 cashiers.
Pretty good spot for plants!
Employees are very friendly
It's walmart lol
The checkout lines are out of control. Each line was likely a 15-30 minute wait. I left my items and went home. I'll find some other way to purchase them, more than likely not Walmart.
Alexandria location has it all
Lack of customer service support
22 checkout lines, and only 3 operating with lines backed out past the main aisle into the clothing aisles. It is Difficult walking through that let alone attempting to check out. This is poor management. I’m a local customer and can’t stand coming here because every time I check out, there is a large line. This time multiple customers in line with me complaining about it. This isn’t just me, this is a cry from your local customers.
This Walmart set up is wild. Parking lot is small, clothes are always a mess.

Will never understand why there are 12+ registers, only 2 lanes open, my only options to check out are wait in one of those lines for 20+ min or self-checkout, then when I go to exit building someone is chasing me down for a receipt. Well, if ya' think I scanned my items incorrectly or stole something then maybe you shouldn't have me ringing in my own orders to begin with.
Was checking out for a 110 dollar shopping trip the old lady named Kathy accused me of trying to steal a bag of topsoil hahaha. I’m not kidding. The handheld beeper beeped so I continued beeping in the rest of the heavy items in my cart. She comes over interrogating me telling me I was trying to steal it then says look at the screen it not on here you didn’t beep it. The camera proves I tried to beep it and it beeped but I mentioned this she called me a liar. Called immediately and spoke to rich who was very professional and acted as if this was not the first time this mentally deranged woman has done this. He was very apologetic and asked me to call back tomorrow and speak to a Nicole who his manager so I will do so tomorrow. At the end I realize not only did the handheld machine not work on this item but it also did not work one one other item1.59 item. Instead of her coming to me like a store representative should and say this item didn’t scan in properly she instead came over throwing stones and accusing me of stealing and that In front of my wife and 13 year old daughter I’m embarrassed to shop at such a place that harbors this type of employment. I will update this tomorrow after I speak to Nicole. Buyers beware!!!
Great place to shop.
Great!
I mostly shop for groceries and their pickup service at the Alexandria store is very good. Their selection of foods has improved since I started shopping there maybe three years ago. Walmart now has more organic offerings but they could use more. An additional way to save is trying their brand, you may like it, if not do not buy it again.
