We have been to Augusta Distillery 3 times in the two years, being able to watch this place grow! It’s been so cool to see the changes and offerings in such a cool setting! The staff have all been amazing, informative, friendly, funny….and with my dad…patient!🤣 He can get to talking a good bit😉 We have told our friends and family about this place and encourage anyone that dabbles in bourbon, to go down and spend the day. Each time we go, we make a stop at The Beehive for some of the most amazing eats! We strongly recommend both!
AMAZING Experience!!! Cory the tour guide was so informative and personable and hilarious!
We have done bourbon tours before on the bourbon trail elsewhere in KY - this tour, facility and experience is hands down my best time ever!
Can’t recommend enough!!
5 stars. Great bourbon and great experience overall. Cory was excellent as our guide. Appreciate his knowledge and hospitality. Will return!
I’I was so very disappointed. We’ve done tons of distillery tours since we started in bourbon and this was one of the worst. Tour was actually a tasting at the price of a tour. We drove two hours to meet our friends yet somehow they didn’t realize the four of us wanted to be at the same table. Tour guide was uninformed and smart-mouthed. Corey told my husband that he sucks. Disappointing all around. Definitely less than we expected.
Fantastic experience. More about bourbon and notes of profiles than the history. Great new plans for the town of Augusta. Hope to be back.
Cory and Anthony did a great job with the tour and tastings. I enjoyed the audience engagement with the bungs and whiskey thief. The entry area is inviting and encourages hanging out.
Love the place it's going to be nice when finished,we will definitely be back. Tour was really great Tracy was awesome. Burbon is good also.
We’ve been on approx 5 bourbon tours and this was by far the best. It was a great learning experience and we got to remove the bung from a bourbon barrel, draw our own samples from each of 3 barrels for tasting. Then if you wanted, and we did, we filled our own bourbon bottles, corked them and then labeled each. Jason did a fantastic job. We highly recommend this tour.
What an unexpected little jewel!! We had such a great time learning about the Augusta Distillery, its history and enjoying the tasting and tour. We will definitely return!
4 years of tours on the KY bourbon trail and who knew? Augusta Distillery in Augusta, Ky is now in our top two favorites! Corey’s tour was so entertaining and unusual. Instead of the usual blah, blah, blah followed by four or five tastes and the inevitable gift shop, we were treated to a hands-on thieving of 3 different barrels and then invited to bottle our favorites or all three from those barrels! Oh yeah, if you’re lucky enough to get Corey for your tour, be advised - he’s the unfiltered real deal!!! Good classic recipe bourbon is a bonus.

We had a wonderful time and it was such a great experience!!! The tour was very educational and fun!!! We will definitely be back for the cigar rolling experience.
Thanks for the memories!!!
Cheers!!!
We had such a great time on our tour!
Very informative and interactive tour, took bourbon from the barrel into my glass
Great tasting experience and tour from Cory even for those of us who weren't drinking. Great to see the use of a once abandoned building to bring something new and thriving to the community while still keeping elements from the past
We are Michiganders visiting KY for the weekend and wanted to do something out of the norm, so we booked a tour at the Augusta Distillery. We had a pretty good tour guide a 9 out of 10 star. We'd say he was a 12 or better but he was a buckeye fan. Lol. We learned a lot, tasted a few different aged bourbons, got to bottle our own and got a gift. Well worth the $29! If you do have the chance to tour be sure Cory is your guide. You won't be disappointed. GO BLUE.
