We stopped by today and this place is very nice. We did the River Proof Barrel Experience. Cory (the guide) was friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. We have done a few of these types of experiences at different places and this was definitely one of the best. He clearly enjoys doing the experience and never felt like he was doing it for what I am sure is his 1000+ time, other than the fact he was good at it. The facility is very nice and I could see myself spending time there just having a drink and soaking in the vibe.. Worth going if you like learning new things and having a fun time. I don't even drink Bourbon and I am glad I went.

Augusta Distillery is a hidden gem. This was our second visit in recent months. We returned for the cigar roll experience, which was wonderful. Obviously, to be a good distillery, you have to have good bourbon. But perhaps, as equally as important as the bourbon is, the people at the Augusta Distillery are part of the batch mix as well. The Augusta Distillery staff are kind, considerate and welcoming. Always engaging and always enjoyable. My wife and I have had two wonderful experiences at Augusta Distillery and we hope to create more.

Cory was great!!!! We tasted two batches, sweated it out watching the stills brew the batches and the tasting with chocolates were amazing. We bought the 8 and 10 year old aged bottles. So much fun.
