Beautiful building with plenty of parking nearby. Service was great, the hot coffee and pastries are delicious. So glad I stopped in for a visit and a treat. lots of things to see and buy. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I decided to drive home through Augusta from Ashland. We wanted to find his Grandfather's and Great Grandfather's graves. The ladies in the General Store were not only friendly but were most helpful to give us directions to the cemetery. The French Toast was amazing! I can't wait for a return trip!!

Just a good place to grab and bite to eat and soak up the atmosphere. They have great homemade pies and cobblers. Open 7 days a week.

In Augusta for a family reunion and had breakfast here. The food and service were both excellent and everything in Augusta has atmosphere. I recommend the omelette and hash browns. Yummy!

Quick service from a young server. Explained everything. Food was hot and tasty. Not expensive. Nice laid back experience.

We arrived at the charming General Store in Augusta, KY for breakfast. The country-style morning meal was both comforting and delicious, served with exceptional hospitality. As we enjoyed our meal, we couldn't help but be captivated by the intriguing merchandise and historical displays that enveloped us, adding to the overall delightful experience.

We come to the general store all the time and have never had a bad experience but this trip was by far one of the worst the waitress was pretty rude the cook was a young girl that was yelling at the waitress the whole time . Half of our food we ordered was out. We was told they had no fries. For 50.00 for a family of 4 I believe that things could have been alot better. We watch many people get up and leave. If this was my first experience I would say it would not have been good and I can't say I would be back. There are alot of people that come to this little town and that would not have been a good experience.

Very interesting, charming place. Reminds me of an old general store, hence the name. But that's where the positive ends. My quest to find somebody that knows how to make scrambled eggs continues. There was something wrong with the goetta. The service was surly, bordering on rudeness. Could be a find with a new cook and different staff.

We had the best dinner. Turkey & Dressing with mashed potatoes and white gravy & apples, dinner rolls, and a peace of coconut cream pie ? and it was delicious. Great atmosphere and service. We will be back very soon.
