We absolutely love this place!! Great food and atmosphere! Can't leave without trying the honey pie ❤️
This is a wonderful place ! Worth the hour drive
Great place for date night! Our waiter was wonderful tonight and our food was delicious! 10 out if 10 recommendations 👏🎊🎉
They opened at 4:00 p.m. for dinner but wouldn't seat us until 4:25 because they had reservations but the restaurant was completely empty. We loved the ambience of this restaurant and the food was pretty good, but for being pretty much the only ones inside the restaurant, the service was very slow. It took a while before we even saw a waiter. Do you really need four bartenders behind a completely empty bar??

We were excited to find a new restaurant that looked great and the atmosphere did not disappoint. Great river view from the outside and very historic indoors. Food was ok - mushroom risotto tasted fine but was definitely not risotto, mashed potatoes were ice cold, burger was tiny and barely dressed. Honey chicken was delicious as were the Brussel sprouts. Portions were tiny. Service was the absolute worst. We got there 20 minutes early and were told that due to staffing issues we would have to wait PAST our reservation time even though the restaurant was 85% empty. Server in the bar was uninformed and sort of smart-mouthed. Server once we got seated disappeared for 20 minutes at a time; we never got salt & pepper, and never got drink refills including water. Once the table next to us was seated and she determined they were family friends, we had to ask one of the hosts to get her as she never voluntarily stopped by our table again. Disappointing.

I recently dined at Beehive for my birthday, and while the location, ambiance, and aesthetics were stunning, my experience was ultimately disappointing due to the service.
From the start, our server seemed indifferent and unapproachable. When we asked for recommendations, he offered little help and acted as though he didn’t want to be there. I ordered a medium steak, but it arrived well-done, gray throughout with no trace of pink. Since it was a $44 dish, I politely mentioned this when the server checked in, hoping for a quick fix. He took the entire plate, sides and all, leaving me to watch my partner finish his meal while I waited (over 30mins, it did not even take that long the first time). He returned to confirm my order, making a snarky remark that felt unnecessary.
After an additional wait, I was so uncomfortable that I asked to speak with the manager. When she arrived, I was met with a half-apology as she essentially accused me of misunderstanding how my steak was cooked. Her tone made me feel even more uncomfortable, and it was upsetting as a customer to be told I was “wrong” about something so straightforward.
In my decade in the service industry, I’ve seen the difference that attentive, understanding service can make, and sadly, I didn’t feel that here. The entire experience left me so uncomfortable and embarrassed that I ended up leaving in tears on what should have been a happy birthday celebration. While they did comp the meal, I would have gladly paid hundreds of dollars to have avoided the way I felt in that place.
While the location and setting were beautiful, the poor service unfortunately soured what should have been a lovely, memorable meal.
I took a box home with the replacement “medium” steak, because I could not be in that place for another second. This is what they served

Our table of four each savored an amazing dining experience against the backdrop of a gorgeous October day. We enjoyed seafood bechamel, ribeye, bourbon glazed salmon, and parmesan crusted tilapia. Everyone was thoroughly pleased with their dinner selections and agreed that the price point matched the quality of the beautifully prepared food.
We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Dinner at Beehive Augusta Tavern was delicious! Everything on the menu looked good. We had the stuffed mushrooms and arancini appetizers, and steaks (which came with 2 sides) for our meals. No complaints! Wonderful service! Would definitely recommend making a reservation as they were completely booked on Saturday and had to turn some people away at the door.

Came down for a girls day on Sunday to explore sweet Augusta & of course had to grab some brunch here! It was so yummy (I got the biscuits & gravy) but everyone loved their meal! The vibe of the whole restaraunt was cozy but upscale. Would definitely come back!

What a gem in Augusta Kentucky…. The food excellent, the atmosphere beautiful, but mostly our server Autumn was incredible. For our first time here she guided us to make ALL the right choices.
