“If you’re looking for a wide variety of good food in a unique atmosphere, you have to try the HCBC. With everything from delicious salads, to smoked bologna, to burger of the month (and all the regulars too), to a ribeye dinner, to bourbon glazed chicken and then some, there’s something for everyone. They even make the veggies enjoyable to eat (sweet potato fries, grilled brussel sprouts, …)! The food is made to order and is made to be enjoyed. They’ve renovated an historic downtown building, salvaging its beauty. Even those of us who don’t partake of the bar can appreciate the original tin ceiling tiles used in its creation. As a side note,if you have a food allergy just let them know. They have gone out of their way to check on ingredients for me and if possible they will modify your order to accommodate your needs. (Unfortunately they do not offer dairy-free mac&cheese but I have yet to find a place that does.)”

“I made a nearly 4 hour drive today to enjoy some Rax roast beef for the first time since the 80s. The food was great, and the lady who took my order was a gem. Overall, it’s an experience I’m happy is still possible to have in the Bluegrass, and I hope they can stay open for a long time.”

“This is my second time here. The food and portions are good and the service is acceptable. Menu items very comparable to the norm for most Mexican restaurants

My gripes with today's meal:
Cheese dip was cold.
Party of two. One order correct, the other had to be remade.

This was on a Friday and they were packed to capacity so I'm only taking one star away due to my first experience being much better. Everyone has an off day and they were still moving items quickly despite the rush.
