Stopped in about closing time and they still welcomed us in. Son had rib steak that he enjoyed and I had a seared pork chop. Had a nice little chat with the owner, nice and friendly guy. Would definitely stop in anytime I'm up that way.
We enjoy trying local restaurants when traveling, and this was our second visit to the Buggy Shed. The food was good and our waitress seemed to be serving most of the tables by herself. The food took a little longer to arrive, but it was worth the wait. They had a decent crowd for a week night.
The Buggy Shed is an excellent place to dine. It's not a chain resonant. It's downhome restaurant with home cooked food that is delicious, well prepared and a pleasure to eat. They have a great and varied menu. Friday is home grown catfish which is delicious. Mt favorite dish is the Beef Manhattan, or as many call it, a hot beef sandwich. The beef is very tender and tasty.
