Bellevue Bistro Reviews
This used to be one of our favourite breakfast joints but the last couple of times had been less than stellar. That was a few years ago so we decided to give it another try. I'm happy to say they've regained their old form and this trip as everything was as good as we remembered from a long time ago. We especially always liked their breakfast and was what we got here. As a local; I really wanted to like this place...but everytime I go, it's a let down! If you order one of their benedicts...be prepared for the eggs to be made fried hard. Bellevue Bistro is a small, cozy cafe located on the main street of Bellevue, Kentucky. It offers a comfortable and slightly quirky atmosphere, making it a popular spot for people to sit and chat over coffee. The breakfast bakes are highly recommended for a delicious morning meal, and the breakfast tacos are a must-try. Huge portions and unique dishes, like the brie grilled cheese with rosemary focaccia bread, melted brie, mozzarella, bacon, and granny smith apples, have garnered praise. The restaurant is small, with only a handful of tables, but there is often at least one table available for diners. The food is consistently hot and flavorful, with many noting that the KY Derby Pie Spicy Chicken is a unique dish worth trying. Although service can get delayed during brunch/lunch hours due to high traffic and occasional staff shortages, the food and overall experience remain enjoyable. Many diners have noted the excellent service and friendliness of the staff, while the chef's skills are frequently praised, contributing to the consistently impressive meals. Bellevue Bistro is a favorite spot for Sunday breakfast, where the excellent portion sizes and delightful atmosphere continue to exceed expectations.
