When I visit a Mexican restaurant, I expect authentic flavors, traditional seasonings, and a warm cultural atmosphere. Unfortunately, this restaurant missed the mark for me. The music was pop rather than anything that created a Mexican dining experience, the staff wasn’t representative of the culture, and the food lacked seasoning. They even served ranch with the chips, which I assumed would be cheese.
The one positive I can mention is that the restaurant was clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.

First time eating here with some friends. Food was very yummy. Our server was very attentive, and very friendly. The ranch they serve with the chips is really good. First impressions when you walk into a restaurant are everything. The hostess was not welcoming at all, seemed to be very bothered by us wanting to dine in, she simply looked like she didn’t want to be at work and was absolutely miserable. Smile :) Makes people feel welcome.

Great food and options that weren't just the typical Mexican joint options. Server Maddie was great-sweet, attentive and knowledgeable. Great decor.

Not sure about this place. It was different but not essentially Mexican in flavor. I had the Gonzalez Nachos and the predominant seasoning was salt.

The wait staff was very nice and the meal came quickly. I did not have to wait for a table on a Wednesday evening. I hope there were Mexicans in the kitchen, because there were none visible on the floor.

That fact, and the fact that there was American pop music playing on the speakers, and the unremarkable flavors of the food, made it seem like it was not a Mexican restaurant at all.

Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant when I'm here or at home

WHAT HAPPENED? Went here after our daughter's graduation. Have been there before and the food was pretty good. This time we didn't even get served. We were seated and given chips and a menu. 25 minutes went by and no one came to take our order. I thought they must be busy but then I saw people who had been there 5 minutes having their order taken. Went to the front desk and let them know. They acted shocked and said they would take care of it. 5 minutes later still nothing. Offered to pay for the chips and left. Don't know what's going on with this place. I am local and hate to leave a bad review but don't think I will be returning.

Not true Mexican food. We had taco salad, shrimp cocktail, beach meal is very small for a hungry fisherman, server was friendly and attentive.

Two Tacos, rice and beans.
Nice clean restaurant, waitress was good, beer was cold.

Service was okay, probably the worst food i have ever eaten in my entire life, and it was about 20$ per person. Used to eat here a lot; now i'm never coming back.

Nice atmosphere and clean. Server was friendly but not around much and wasn't real busy with customers. Drinks are WAY over priced. Appetizer was to small for what we paid. Main entrée was good.

The menu is the most limited of any TexMex restaurant in the 3 county area. Tiny portion of refried beans and guacamole served with the main course. No frozen margaritas. Margaritas over ice were small and expensive. So many better in the area. This place just doesn’t cut it.

Great shrimp and fish taco, one of the better i have had.

Kid-friendliness: We went with friends and they had a kids that was 2-3 years and was running around everywhere, it was pretty slow at the hour we went and so the staff didn't mind.
