We went there last night. My food was really good. My wife’s food came out cold. The meatballs, mashed potatoes and green beans were not even warm. My wife took a couple of bites. We had to wave down the server.
We informed here about the cold food. She didn’t seem surprised. After a few minutes a young lady came to the table. She didn’t introduce herself. She stayed it looked like you ate half so I can’t take it off the bill. At no point did we ask for it to be removed. We simply stated it was cold and requested it be taken away.
Her assuming we wanted a free meal was insulting. After that rude interaction. I requested a replacement meal. She said ok and you don’t have to pay for the first one. I would hope not since it was terrible.
We paid for a food and started home. I didn’t look at the receipt prior to paying and that was my fault. I later looked at the receipt and found we had indeed been double charged for my wife’s food.
So I returned and the same rude young lady was at the counter. She knew why I had returned before I said anything. I ask about a manager. She stayed there was not one on duty. I ask her if she was the acting manager and she wouldn’t respond.
We have eaten there in many occasions and always had good service and good food. Due to this incident I don’t think we will be returning and I definitely will not be recommending this place to anybody.

The rest rooms do not have tables to change a diaper. We were served water in a shattered glass. The water tasted horrible so we ordered ttea.When we got a refill it was filled with Coke. The glasses were taken and we were told they were making more tea. After our meals were done we informed them that we never got our tea. We were told that it was because they had no clean glasses!! We were charged with the same price. We made our server aware and the manager talk her "sorry about that" and never talked to us. We will never go back.

There was something very concerning with the water here. When we mentioned it, the server admitted that she already knew something was wrong, yet it was still being served to guests. That alone is unacceptable. We didn’t stay and there was no apology, no empathy nothing.
On top of that, the front-of-house experience was disappointing — the hostess/manager did not greet or welcome anyone walking in, which set a poor tone from the start. And having to pay at the counter in a sit-down restaurant feels disorganized and out of place for this type of dining experience.
Overall, this visit left us uncomfortable and dissatisfied. The only thing Popi’s has going for it is the atmosphere, if you can’t get water right I’m not sure how you’re still in business. Local Health Department needs to look into what’s wrong with the water especially if they are cooking the foods with the same water they are serving and walking around with in their fancy water decanters.

We ate here for my birthday dinner tonight and it was awesome! We had never been here as we live about 3 hours away but was in the area for a dirtbike race, to our surprise they had lots of items to chose from something for everyone ! The service was great! Will definitely be back!

We just found this place while on vacation. Wonderful atmosphere, quiet and the best food around. All staff was friendly and professional. AMANDA was our server, she was perfect. Her timing with the service of our food was spot on. Highly recommend you ask for her when you go. Definitely will return.
