Parcell’s Perk Coffee Shop & Bakery

Live out of town. Been hearing praises about this place for a bit. Drive 2 hrs to have lunch with my bro's.. there. Everyone in our group orders in line at the same time. 3 different tickets. 4 orders on one, 2 on the second, 2 on the 3rd. How is it that one of our orders gets "missed?". 2 orders in our party got all their food. 15 minutes later, hubby and I are still waiting... meanwhile kitchen/cook staff are on their phones or chitty-chatting abt personal life.. it wasn't until I caused a smidge of discomfort in the ordering area, that I was informed ours was "next up". 21 minutes we waited..... at a deli???? Everyone else in our party was done eating. The staff could have given 2 F's. The reuben was good, not great. Very disappointed. Will not come back.

I live in Eddyville and when our one coffee shop closed for remodeling, I was curious what other options were around. I happened to find this one through Google Maps and I am so glad I visited!! The coffee shop is quiet and cozy with a couch and game table, cozy chairs for chatting, and plenty of tables to spread out at. There was no music playing when I came which I found to be a unique choice but I liked the change. For a smaller coffee shop, their prices are quite average for what you would expect ($4-5 for most drinks). The service was FAST and I enjoyed my butterscotch iced latte. Drinks here are served without a lid and when you receive your drink, you pick whichever lid, straw, cup cozy, etc. suits your style best- unique for sure! I love this little shop and I may be coming here more often to do work and read my Bible!

This is my favorite place for a chill date night the staff are great and the food and drinks are even better definitely would recommend

We LOVE Parcell’s for everything! Their coffee is our favorite, but the bakery pastries, lunch cafe, & gift boutique are also wonderful! Such a sweet organization & run by the friendliest faces. We can’t visit WKY without popping into Parcell’s for all the things each time we come!

As I’m searching for local coffee shops, the thing I notice is that many times the reviewer(s) will review the bakery items, if available, and not the coffee. I’ve chosen a different establishment because the emphasis is on the non-coffee aspects of a place.I think it’s awesome to have good stuff to go with your coffee! But when choosing between this place and that, I want to know about the joe.Here I am in Kuttawa, Kentucky. Going cross country, camping, I need good coffee. What are the chances I’m going to find some? After reading about several places, I decided to chance a little place called Parcell’s Perk.The reviews mention baked goods so I’m a little leery, but here we go!The first thing I want to make clear is that you walk in and the two areas are completely separate: there’s the coffee shop side and a bakery side.It must be said that the bakery looks aaaaaaah-may-zing!! Homemade, from-scratch donuts are the first highlighted item! WOW! And they look it! Pies, cakes! Anything you might want! Yum!!But then there’s the coffee shop. Oooooooh, the coffee shop! It’s perfect! It’s cozy, lots of seating! The requisite free internet! But that’s just the superficial.The two baristas were…adorable? Amazing? Professional and knew their stuff! Everything one might possibly want in the one entrusted with delivering your morning nectar!The coffee was perfection. Strong. Perfect amount of foam. Perfect blending of cream. It was quite literally…perfect. In fact, it was so good that I went back for an oh-so-rare second before we left.And their prices?? So reasonable, that I ended up tipping the difference between what I’d expect to pay at any other coffee house and the total they gave me. The tip jar did quite well.I cannot say enough good things about this coffee house. There’s not single one thing that I could point to where they could do better or improve. It’s worth the time off the expressway to get there! A hidden gem in Draffenville, Kentucky!

Parcell’s did a really great job with my wedding! Their cake and cupcakes were delicious, moist, and beautiful. My only complaint is that the cake was not decorated the way I asked. It still looked good, and was delicious, but if you are particular about your details, which most brides are, I would recommend maybe calling them the day of to make sure whoever is making it is aware of what you want. I had sent them a picture of what I wanted weeks in advance when I paid, but I’m thinking whoever was there on the morning of the wedding didn’t know about the picture, otherwise I’m sure they would’ve made it happen.

And the Kentucky spirits smiled sweetly upon me when I pulled over randomly in Parcell's parking lot to reset my GPS. I was curious & couldn't pass the opportunity to treat myself with a cafè coffee. Delicious. Super friendly service, amazing bakery selection, gift shop, local-made doggie treats (!!) & deli food (for humans) to try another time. Bob Ross might have called this stop a "happy accident". I hope to be back! Thank you so much.. ?

Rather it's Saturday morning coffee and doughnuts with my wife and 2 year old daughter or finding a quiet corner to work in while i sip on a breve, Perk is awesome every time! It's clean, fast, and the workers always have a great attitude. The attached deli and bakery is a bonus as well!

Kid-friendliness: They have a small play table with coloring books and a couple of toys for kids to play with! It is so nice for my wife and I to sit back, enjoy our coffee, and watch our daughter play.
