I’ve been a customer of Apollo Pizza on and off for some time now, but my recent experience was disappointing (a few following this as well). I ordered the Alfredo, cheese sticks, and breadsticks, and none of them met the quality I’ve come to expect.
The Alfredo was way too dry, lacking the creamy, rich sauce that makes the dish enjoyable, also the noodles were burnt, ( I did ask for extra sauce which was not given). It felt like it had been sitting too long or wasn’t prepared with enough sauce to begin with. The cheese sticks were also a letdown — they barely had any cheese in them, making them more like plain dough sticks. To top it off, the breadsticks were dry and missing the buttery topping that usually makes them so flavorful.
It’s frustrating to see the attention to detail and quality slipping here. I really hope Apollo Pizza can improve and return to the high standards they once upheld.
These issues have happened more than once, when called about it they have been extremely nice to fix the issues I experience with my order, but it does get frustrating to have to frequently call to tell them my food is inedible.

Dietary restrictions: Cauliflower crust pizza. Not sure how careful they are in kitchen but it didn't make me sick.

Ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas, garlic sticks, and fries. Ended up getting 1 pepperoni pizza, and the second looked like meatlovers with banana peppers. They were good even though we didn't order the one. (My fault, I should've checked the order before I left) would go back.

I genuinely enjoyed the pizza that we ordered. We got two Charles pizza. Coming from NY, it was surprisingly tasteful.

Not a tap room by any means. Pizzas are well cooked but severely lack the toppings you order. No music, no tv sound, no bartender. They use the cheapest dressings so you should assume cheapest ingredients. The food is what you’d get at a drive thru at best. And you get to pay more for it.

My family and I absolutely LOVE Apollo Pizza Old Town Taproom. We have never been disappointed. The food is made fresh, whether you’re dining in or carry out, it’s fresh and hot! You get A LOT for your money. My eyes are bigger than my belly most of the time, but it’s one of those situations that you feel like you could explode, yet, the foods so good it would be worth it. ? My favorite dish is the chicken fettuccine Alfredo with extra sauce. It comes in a tin/aluminum type dish which helps keep it hot. The cheese is baked on top and once you break that cheese barrier, that facial of the food aroma hits your nostrils! It’s SO GOOD! You also get 5 breadsticks with the Alfredo! The place is always super clean as well as the bathrooms. The waitresses have always been extremely sweet and courteous. Prices aren’t bad at all! It’s a very kid friendly atmosphere. Even though there’s a bar in the back corner, people never get loud or obnoxious. It’s not that kind of bar or place. Everyone is respectful of others and especially with kids there so I can appreciate that. If you’ve never been here, you’re missing out!
Parking: Depending on the time of day it could be hard to find a spot to park, but you’ll always find a place even if you have to walk just a little ways.

Nice little restaurant with lots of choices! The servers are really nice and the food is amazing! They have an outdoor area to eat and serve alcohol. We eat there a lot!
