We ordered our food to be picked up curbside at 815. The food was ready so that was a plus. However, when we got the food home it was disappointing. The hashbrown casserole looked and tasted old and the grilled chicken was rubbery. As I understand this is a later in the evening to order your business is open until 10 pm, so I would hope that 815 you could still get fresh food.

Very disappointed in my family's visit yesterday. The food was the worst we had ever had there. Eggs overcooked, soup bean soured, turnips greens - don't even know how to explain how they were, very unorganized coming out of the kitchen. Our waitress touted that she was the best at her job and couldn't remember who ordered what or what drinks anyone had. We asked for a plate. She brought our extra biscuits dumped them in the bread basket and handed us the plate as our extra one.

My family stopped going to the Richmond Cracker Barrel because of the food and service. We have always been extremely please with the Berea location. However, yesterday's visit has a rethinking that now.

We arrived at 5:53. Hostess went into the kitchen and didn’t come out until 6:05. Now, it’s past the dinner special which ends at 6pm. So this is Normal for Berea, KY Cracker Barrel. The manager did come to our table and said that the computer shuts down and doesn’t allow orders after 6pm. The girl that walked away & refused to return to the hostess stand exited from the kitchen and walked out the front door at 6:05. That’s ok. I won’t return.

The first coffee that the server brought was lukewarm. She seemed perplexed as to how that cold happen. I specifically asked for the eggs to have the yolks broken and cooked hard hard hard!, The yolks were runny and I was not asked how everything was until I was almost finished. Time to move on from Cracker Barrel.

Had a great waitress although a little forgetful. Sides were under cooked. Mashed potatoes were way to stiff and lumpy.

Dumplings were just a huge clump of dough. Hashbrown casserole was cold and dry. I requested cornbread muffins but got biscuits.

I order the country boy breakfast at the richmond ky location this morning. The chicken sausages was cooked perfect along with the eggs. I order same thing this evening in Berea I order the exact samething. Man the Berea location can learn how to cook from the Richmond location. Especially how to cook the spicy chicken sausages.
I think from now own - I just drive up to Richmond Location instead. This isn't the only issue I had with Berea location. The waitress was awesome. The kitchen suck like usually.

Decided to brave the snow and go drive the 6 miles to our local cracker barrel. Well, we should have stayed home!!! The worst breakfast. (We had a bad experience last time as well, but decided to give it another try) hubby ordered the mommas breakfast, I ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs over medium, crispy bacon and hashbrowns and of course, coffee. His pancakes were dry, cold, and completely FLAT! No rise to them at all. So he asked if he could get toast instead. Had to wait for his toast, in the meantime, he had eaten most of his rest of breakfast. When the toast came, it tasted SWEET! Toast should not taste sweet. Now, onto my order. I asked for over medium eggs. They came like they were poached and they were RAW. Like clear albumin came out! DISGUSTING. The gravy and biscuits were cold, the hashbrowns were not cooked all the way. Barely any crisp to them at all. Coffee, was lukewarm at best. Our server was ok, she apologized, not her fault. But, she should have looked at the order better and said that the over medium eggs were not that. Anyhow, this is the last time we will go there. Cracker Barrel, you have lost your touch in so many ways. You used to be GOOD, now it's just crap. Train your cooks......
