People were very friendly. We had a huge burger and fries for less thank$13. Definitely would recommend it for a quick lunch.
No more hot dinners since covid. Burger shown on website has a ciabatta bun on a real plate. Mine was a frozen burger on a cheap bun, served in a styrofoam takeout container (in the cafe, not takeout). Waffle fries were good and crispy. I gave it one star because service on styrofoam containers and cups is truly inexplicable when the Artisan Center is meant to represent the progressive city of Berea.
Don’t care for food served in styrofoam take-out boxes. Food wasn’t bad, wasn’t terrific, interesting seeing the artwork!
I love this cafe. The food was great and price was awesome too. This is a perfect spot to stop while traveling on the road.

Really unique spot with some amazing handcrafted items.
Nice sandwiches. Awesome gift shop.

I ordered the burger of the month which I thought was very good. Soup was ok. I was vey surprised when I was charged $2 for a cup of water.
The food at the cafe is a lot better than you might expect. Years back it was pretty standard cafeteria fair, but over the last few years the head chef and the menu have changed dramatically. The burgers in particular are top notch. Cakes, quiche, pork chops, all worth eating.I went in to do food photography for the new menu and ended up stuffing my face till it hurt... and then I ate a couple more bites.Definitely worth trying out if you're just passing through and don't have time to visit the town.

Nothing too fancy here; but well seasoned country cooking at reasonable prices. We had turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and white bean soup. All were delicious and well portioned. Also offered sandwiches, salads, and desserts which we didn't try. Service was fast and easy.
We have stopped at the artisan center/rest stop many time during our travels. This is the first time we ate in the cafe. What a nice place to have lunch. I had the catfish and my wife had the bean soup. Both were tasty. The staff was nice and the eating area is very well appointed with the local art. The food is served cafeteria style with a grill and salad bar available. Much nicer than fat food at about the same price.
Worth the stop! Many creative items and a nice cafe!
Great food at prices not much more than fast food. When traveling we try to stop during lunch time so we can eat at this café...the food is excellent and the prices are very good. It is nice to eat and enjoy the art at the same time. The nearby restrooms are first class.
Great food for the price!
