We were there about 3 weeks ago and should have realized since we were the only ones there on Saturday afternoon around 1 pm . The place was very quiet when we went in and the waitress seated us and ask if we wanted the buffet or something off the menu . So we chose to have the buffet and boy that was a mistake the food tasted like it was straight out of a can and microwaved. No Taste at all and most of it was cold and the meat was dried out
No BBQ of any kind the only dessert was sweet potato pie. We paid for our so called meal and tipped the waitress and we won’t ever stop by that place again very over priced and very disappointing

Nastiest food I have ever tried to eat on a buffet, chicken was refried yes refried, tough and dried out, every thing we tried was awful, rolls were so old they crumbled, nastiest experienced I have ever had at a buffet, don't waste your money, it cost us forty three dollars, fifty with tip, one dessert only pumpkin pie no cool whip. The man tried to say the chicken wasnt refried but it was, to give a rating minus five, awful. The little waitress was nice. It was our forty sixth wedding anniversary and we were very disappointed, we will never stop there ever again.

My booth was dirty they sat me at and had holes in the cushions.Food was bland, no seasoning whatsoever on any vegetables.Ribs were obviously boiled, then shoved in an over for a few minutes with cheap store bought BBQ sauce. The only dessert was pumpkin pie, which wouldn't even be as good as the cardboard crust Kroger brand. On another note, how do you call yourself the Smokehouse Grill, when there is ZERO smoking going on of any kind?Paid $23 for the absolutely worst buffet I have ever had.

I’ve been here a few times. Food is basic, although meats are good. The people are kind. However, the news & commentary station they have on the TVs all the time makes this place unwelcoming.

We were on our way back from an all-day outing and saw this spot dinner. Our family of 5 all decided to give it a try. It wasn't busy, maybe 1 other family when we walked in. They had a buffet, but I chose to eat from the menu. The rest of my crew(hubby and 3 kids) at from the buffet. I chose the fried green tomatoes and grilled veggies. The veggies were actually fried, though. It's not a problem. I like fried foods! Green tomatoes were yummy. Everything needed salt which was provided at the table. My only down side to this was that it was waaaaay overpriced. Like 60 bucks. Kids didn't eat much but I understand it's the buffet and they could have eating more. We had water with our meals but that's normal because we prefer that over soda. The high price is just the normal in today's world. The place does need a bit of an update to it. Cozy and huge restaurant. I think that more items need to be added to the bar for the pricing. Maybe Include some vegetarian meals? staff was extremely nice.I probably wouldn't juice it again but all and all, it was ok for home cookin.

We stopped in there for the first time after visiting family. Not crowded at all. My husband and I both got the buffet. The salad bar was fresh and delicious, the chicken, mashed potatoes, fish and vegetables was great! Are waitresses was very helpful and kind. All around good experience, will definitely visit Smokehouse grill and buffet again.

Great stop off for a wayside meal. Not gourmet, but fresh, hot, tasty. Locally owned, very reasonably priced. A very pleasant change from crowded, rushed, noisy chain restaurants and fast food. Terrific comfortable down-home family restaurant. New chef. We did not try the buffet, only because we were not that hungry and still had long miles to travel, but it looked good.
