This is a wonderful place to get outside and enjoy nature. My dog and I frequently hike here and there are so many different trails that none are the same.
Stunning views and a definite leg work out. Hiking poles are recommended if you have delicate knees. Every overlook gave way to the stunning colors of fall. Eagle's nest was the perfect spot for a snack break. This place is a must see! Plenty of parking available. The bathrooms were locked. We hiked over 7 miles and did not get to East Pinnacle. We did see a lot of dogs on the trails! Bring water! A great way to spend a day exploring nature! 10 out of 10!
Beautiful hiking trails with spectacular views. Fall colors were amazing today!
Toilets: Restrooms available both indoors and out.
Great hike to west Pinnacle. Little scramble coming back to Indian fort lookout but us 3 60 plus year olds made it.
Parking: Lots parking
Toilets: Nice restrooms
Indian Fort Mountains are also called Mount Pinnacle. It has multiple trails to serve needs of different levels of hikers. East Pinnacle is easy and short distance. West Pinnacle is a little longer and moderate. Indian Fort is the shortest, most popular, and little challenging. Look out is the best from here. From the Indian Fort, you can go to other trails such as East Pinnacle or West Pinnacle or Buzzard Nest, etc. While going to the West Pinnacle from the Indian Fort, a section for stiff rocky fall could be a little dangerous when it is wet and slippery during and after recent rain. Enjoy ?.
3 hours is a lot of fun
