We love hiking here and it's a great place to bring your dog, pack a picnic, ride a bike or check out the Forestry building. Just be careful of cliff edges, especially if you're off trail. The views from the Pinnacles are stunning. Every time, we visit the amphitheater and we always see cool wildlife here. Grew up knowing it as The Indian Fort Theatre where you could hike to The Pinnacles. The paved sidewalk trail that shoots off near the entrance to the parking lot...

Stunning views and a definite leg work out. Hiking poles are recommended if you have delicate knees. Every overlook gave way to the stunning colors of fall. Eagle's nest was the perfect spot for a snack break. This place is a must see! Plenty of parking available. The bathrooms were locked. We hiked over 7 miles and did not get to East Pinnacle. We did see a lot of dogs on the trails! Bring water! A great way to spend a day exploring nature! 10 out of 10!
